Rasiak is injured. Saga will play simple by virtue that we have nowt else. lets hope he is keen to leave and will therefore be trying to catch the eye of potential buyers

AP has said in a few interviews that he looks for and likes players that give 8/10 performances each week. I'm sure he has told the players 8/10 minimum - if you cant do it regularly then I will find someone that can. New start for everyone, new owners, new manager, upbeat (big) crowd and live on Sky. If they cant give 100% today then they are in the wrong career.

You do like to twist things NickG. All I said was a defeat (at home) to Millwall will highlight our current weaknesses. By this I mean quality in team! Where do I suggest anything about the manager? I am happy to debate and respect your opinion, just please try and keep on track and don't read to much into things (or make crap up). You have been telling me all week how good our starting 11 is - now suddenly you are calling Millwall the favourites (haha) to win the league......are you getting your excuses ready already?

A Millwall win will only highlight our weaknesses.

I have no grumble about the players signed thus far - I agree they are ideal (we needed better fullbacks) especially after losing Surman. What I worry about is the delay in signing a CB and decent midfielder and a striker. The team is A) Not good enough B) Thread bare C) Full of injury proned players D) Containing players that want out E) Missing players already injured. We therefore need more than the 2 bought in. Season starts tomorrow not end of Aug. Oh and do I watch Saints? Yes

why does buying a player fast automatically mean the player wont be right? Are you suggesting Harding is rubbish because AP bought him after 2 days? Your point is now moot - buying player(s) now could hardly be described as "fast" AP is waiting for the right players - he has targets (Stern, Jaidi.....) he just hasnt been able to convince them to sign.

Next time some thing bad happens, ask yourself "What did I do to contribute to this, and what can I do to make things better?" Apologize to the world for the part you played in messing things up, even if you don't feel it was your fault. Apologize to yourself as well, and then forgive yourself. Now all you can do is start all over again. There is no use having any bad feelings, for that will just dig you even deeper into the hole. Smile and be happy, and you will quickly find your way out.

where have we said "we want it now" and where have we encouraged each other? It's you hapy clappers that shadow each other from thread to thread posting your boring "In AP we trust" and "I'm just happy to have a club" tosh. We have different opinions - live with it bucko. I'm not a "Yoof" i'm just a fan that wants the best for my team and have not resigned myself to accepting 2nd best.

Are you a happy clapper? Let’s see.... You say in the above that "there are strong teams in our league" and remind us of the -10. You would then (I hope) agree that we also need to be strong(er) to have any chance of getting promoted? Right? Quick questions - - Do we need new players fast? A (Yes) B (No) C (In AP we trust) - Are you frustrated by the lack of additions this summer? A (Yes) B(no) C (In AP we trust) - Compare your feeling today against the few days after the takeover...are you A (Less optimistic) B (More Optimistic) C ("Just glad we have a club") - are we ready for the new season? A (No way) B (Yes) C ("AP has only been here a few weeks")

It would be good (just to prove my point) that we play all season with this "better" team and see where we finish.....It would break my heart to say I told you so... Thankfully AP shares my ambition and will bring in better players before long.

Seems the only people happy to remain in L1 for more than one year are the happy clappy crew. AP said top 2 (this year), I say up this year anyone with any ambition says up this year. Problem with a few of us (group is getting smaller thank god) is they have began to accept 2nd best and are now content just to survive and "consolidate". Quite sad
