My own view was to have a clean sweep they, the Dutch group of five exit stage left...If you wanted to have a coach within then Hockaday would have been better than Wottey...But a clean sweep at xmas time would have given us a fighting chance but Wottey is JP and both were led by Rupert and Kim... Wottey is only doing what most saw a long time ago...But I still want Saints to attempt some wins.....But most Lowe Luvvies still can't admit Lowe was wrong and so was the Dutch crew.....Lowe is never wrong and look how great he is now in appointing Wottey and changing tactics....Far too late. :smt022

You forget too easily that Wottey has played a MAJOR role in what has gone before. He is the one on behalf of Lowey that has been tightening the cuffs on JPs wrists week after week. As bad as his former boss JP..Wottey is still a Lowe stooge and will never make a Manager/Head Coach for a big club like Saints or in a league like the CCC. Amateur or conference level appointment, again. Lowe and his Luvvies have NO idea at all.

My wife is a very good Manager and could do better than JP and his side kick Wottey.

You are probably right as the information being passed, is that basically, we are still a very poor side and deserve to be where we are. The reports are showing signs that there has been slight improvement and these individuals are making comparisons with the dreadful fayre that has been previously served up. In a nutshell we are going to struggle with four or five other teams who are just as bad as us.....Ability (limited in our side) is not going to save us now...But large doses of blood , guts and experienced players like Wotton and shedloads of fight might give us an outside chance.....I wish and pray.

Now confirmed by several other mates at the game that Wotton gave the side steal and experience..Hope he keeps it up..The team needs his leadership and he will get fitter.

My scout at the match states that although Saga probably will get all the plaudits..Wotton actually was a star and played like two men and both very good men. All the stick he takes he is still all heart and blood/guts.

How long has this forum been telling these top people they have no idea. I am surprised Saga makes the effort and yet he was treated very badly by this club.
