Just listened to Ep.51. A really good listen as always.
Funnily enough, I'd only just re-watched the highlights of the 'grey shirt' game a few days before, so I was nicely up to speed on the look back at that game.
Can't imagine any new Technical Director / DoF will be brave enough to pick Big Sam, but I'd be genuinely interested to see if Sam could get a tune out of this lot.
Southampton will give Mark Hughes the chance to reverse club's fortunes but time is ticking: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/11/25/southampton-will-give-mark-hughes-chance-reverse-clubs-fortunes/
Right this second? I would assume Gao could just pick somebody as he's the owner. Or would assume Ralph/Wilson/Gao would pick between them.
(Not saying either of those are good!)

Got to feel for Flannigan. What a horrendous run of injuries he's had.
How the mighty have fallen. Shows how strong Liverpool are when Lallana & Clyne have both previously done very well for them, then have gotten injured & pretty much can't get a game now fit again.
I remember that too!
