  1. Yeah, good use of stats to back the Austin argument up. Merrington post-match was saying Obafemi should have been on way earlier vs Fulham.
  2. Just listened to Ep.51. A really good listen as always. Funnily enough, I'd only just re-watched the highlights of the 'grey shirt' game a few days before, so I was nicely up to speed on the look back at that game.
  3. Can't imagine any new Technical Director / DoF will be brave enough to pick Big Sam, but I'd be genuinely interested to see if Sam could get a tune out of this lot.
  4. Zero idea. We did this the year we sold Chambers didn't we? Literally had no back-up & got lucky as Clyne played nearly every game.

  6. On the plus side, not too long to wait as we will lose that lot.
  7. Southampton will give Mark Hughes the chance to reverse club's fortunes but time is ticking: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/11/25/southampton-will-give-mark-hughes-chance-reverse-clubs-fortunes/

  9. My buddy Convict will be happy as Bosz gets a mention here: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/southampton-sack-looms-mark-hughes-13642489
  10. Right this second? I would assume Gao could just pick somebody as he's the owner. Or would assume Ralph/Wilson/Gao would pick between them. (Not saying either of those are good!)
  11. We can't f*ck around trying to be Barcelona. Give Big Sam the job. He will have to earn his money trying to get this team effective.
  12. Still out for a number of weeks according to Hughes.
  13. I'm surprised they aren't still writing the Chelsea report
  14. Burnley appoint Mike Rigg as Technical director.
  15. That's the problem isn't it. Only other option is Gabbi to play up top, but I think I want to see more from him out wide.
  16. Major doubt. https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018-11-22/team-news-southampton-fulham-premier-league-1819
  17. I get what you're saying, but man, I'm desperate for a win.
  18. https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/burton/nigel-clough-chelsea-southampton-transfer-2246421 Got to feel for Flannigan. What a horrendous run of injuries he's had.
  19. How the mighty have fallen. Shows how strong Liverpool are when Lallana & Clyne have both previously done very well for them, then have gotten injured & pretty much can't get a game now fit again.
  20. (Assuming Ings is injured) ------------McCarthy------------ Cedric---Yoshida---Hoedt---Targett ---------Hojbjerg---Lemina--------- Gabbi------Armstrong------Redmond ---------------Austin----------------
  21. Has a house in Winchester doesn't he?
