He should have just given us this season & left in the summer. (12 months on contract, so would have been easier to move clubs). Instead he's made a bit of a t*t of himself.
-
Can Benfica give him a bumper pay-day though?

Chris Wise @chriswisey #saintsfc boss Claude Puel has told me he won't reassess playing Jose Fonte until the end of the January transfer window.

STOKE BACK IN FOR BERAHINO Stoke manager Mark Hughes has revealed talks have reopened with West Brom in a bid to finally thrash out a deal for Saido Berahino. Hughes has shown interest in Berahino in the last two transfer windows and is keen to end his protracted chase for the striker by coming to an agreement withthe Baggies this month. "I'm not sure where we are with Saido Berahino," said Hughes. "We are probably getting to the point where we need to make a decision one way or another. "I am hopeful that we will be able to get something done. We are interested in him, as a number of other clubs are, but nothing has moved forward from last week. We are still waiting for the player's club to give us an indication."

The most disappointing thing about Everton's signing's now is that they have ditched that magnificent video branding with the very believable line.... [video=youtube;I2YVL8K4E-s]

Yeah, that's what I meant. Poor choice of words by me - I was saying we should rotate players in the Norwich game NOT the Burnley one.

His recent experience in the dug-outs made him curious to go back to where the 1st ones were installed.

Everton @Everton #WelcomeMorgan @SchneiderlinMo4!

Interesting couple of stats: - Southampton have lost the most points when leading in the Premier League this season (14) but Burnley are the only side yet to gain a point when trailing. - Burnley have won 22 of their 23 points in the Premier League this season at Turf Moor (96%). Since when has that changed Claude's rotation?
-
No idea if he made a profit, but Milan Mandaric purchased enough clubs that I assume made him money.
-
I would go: ------------Forster------------ Cedric Yoshida Virgil Bertrand ------------Romeu------------ -------JWP-----Hojbjerg------- Sims--------------------Tadic ----------Rodriguez----------- - I've only rotated 3 players: Redmond (as he ran some serious distance), Davo injured, Clasie stamina. - Burnley is the priority as any players left out are effectively being rested for Norwich. - I've kept Jay in as it's against his old club.

CHINA! Why does he want to go back to Marseille anyway? Apparently they bid £20m, which West Ham rejected and he throw his toys out the pram.

Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC Puel on transfers: "We know it's a difficult window in January, but we will stay focused to see if we can find an opportunity." #saintsfc

Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC Puel says @StevenDavis8 has a knock and will be assessed, but the #SaintsFC boss has no other new injuries:

Quite rightly, when you look how other teams have done after a takeover. I think (without knowing anything) I always imagined it might be 60/40% share with Kat and my hope was that they would look to develop the land around St Mary's.

I need somebody intelligent to tell me if Lander are minted or not? I agree.

Is that us?
