I said something similar on another thread. If you put Sharp in the SPL, he'd score just as many than Hooper IMO. Nigel is very well placed to know how good they both are.

That's because (like it or not) our chairman has morals in regards to signing on fee's and 30k p/week wage demands.

If we couldn't come to terms with Collins, and Upson was our 1st choice, whatever made us think we'd agree terms with Upson?! (Fair play to us if Upson was 1st choice though)

Sharp is quality. Put him in the SPL and he'd score just as many as Hooper IMO. I like Hooper, but I think a 2m Sharp is better value than a 7m Hooper. Nige has worked with both, so he's in a good position to judge who's better.

Training probably I really should learn from every single transfer window and log on here @ midnight to avoid disappointment, but damn it! - I just can't help myself!!!

I know. Good to get at least a little peak at what he can do though. Who knows whether it's true or not. It's a touch disappointing after the Hooper link, but with that said, the level of clubs interested in the lad means he must have something about him. Holloway does have a good eye for a player, too.
