That's pretty accurate actually. He literally would be a very similar move in the sense of snapping up one of the divisions best strikers. (3m doesn't really compare to the 250k we got Barney for, though).

Doesn't sound like Cortese to me, Lardy. With a player near the end of his contract, it just doesn't seem Nicola-like to want to 'break the bank' for him. I believe we had interest, but didn't bid due to our respective valuations being no-where near each other.
