Very alarming. Alderwiereld signed for Spurs on July 8th, Yet over 6 weeks later we are still nowhere near to replacing him. Defensive uncertainty, strange team selections and some way below par performances mean we are currently a shambles.

Much as I like Long, he is far more effective coming on as a sub rather than when he starts,Starting Long and pushing Davis back hasn't worked. Would have preferred Reed or even Ward-Prowse to start alongside Wanyama today, which would allow Davis to play further forward

This is a discussion forum, and its a shame that discussions seem to very quickly go off topic and resort to personal attacks. For the record, I am too a little worried that we haven't yet signed a centre half and that its nearly a month since Toby joined Spurs.

I think you have missed some information from here, as I know for a fact that RANDERS(DEN) are playing Anders Svensson's ELFSBORG(SWE) in the 2nd round. An Anders return to St. Marys would be wonderful...
