During my days at Solent University or SIHE as it was known previously, me and my roommate spent too many nights in having a few beers and listening to Bowie. Then he went on to appear in Twin Peaks which is my favourite TV show of all time. Doubly sad news. The word legend is overused, however Mr Bowie certainly was and the world is a wearier place without him.

Yep. Time for him to go I feel. Baffling tactics, strange substitutions(today for instance), a wasted summer of buying totally inept players and Koeman seems powerless to change or influence the slump we are on. Added to that his slagging off of the academy and his body language and demeanor in recent weeks, I feel that we need a change while its january and the new manager can bring in some quality.

Wanyama was stupid, but Koeman should have already subbed him especially given his rashness and his hot-headedness. Yet again Koeman seemed bereft of ideas and seems happy to let the game drift away.

He was wasteful in possession yesterday, gave the ball away numerous times. Also his defending and positioning are very suspect as well. The fact that people here think it's ok for a club with European ambitions (the boards words) to be playing a player like this sums up the horror show that was the summer transfer dealings.

Great first half, but 2nd half West Ham made a couple of subs and ever present fragile mentality comes into play and we throw it away. Wanyama and Romeu were non existent 2nd half, and serious questions need to be asked once more, why did we sign Clasie if he cant play more than an hour a week? Our back up right backs are simply not good enough, Martina at fault for the first, Yoshida for the 2nd. I for one, would rather see Jason McCarthy given a go then either of these. Our defending this season has been poor, poor positioning week in, week out, and we have let in some awful goals. Something is definitely wrong there, Has Fonte gone backwards? Or is Van Dijk not as good as we hoped. Notice James Collins screaming at his team first half when things were not going well. We need a leader like that on the pitch to stop us becoming such a walkover. Very disappointed as I hoped that Saturday was the turning point, but it seems that was a false dawn, and the real Saints were on show 2nd half today.
