  1. Benali's take on him playing in the cup final. http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/southampton-legend-benali-caceres-must-not-make-wembley-debut-4169288
  2. Do people still watch international football in this day and age...
  3. That's what I thought I'm surprised the club didn't see at as a money maker reckon they would have sold a few.
  4. You mean the 3rd kit? I'm pretty sure it isn't and won't be available though if anyone knows better my nipper would love one.
  5. Each to their own personally I think Les is a half decent DOF who has done some good things but being human is also prone to the odd **** up. The CB situation this Jan was a **** up but at least Les has tried to rectify the **** up. I'd rather that then he did nothing. As for wages and stuff where you expecting the club secure a player that was happy to work for free?
  6. Seems very similar to signings like Eljero Elia or Filip Djuricic except instead of being a loan he is a free transfer.
  7. Its not a panic buy he is a free agent..
  8. ?? If you're going to pick two random games to prove your point I could just easily say did you not see the Liverpool and Sunderland games?
  9. He is cover for the rest of the season at 29 I doubt the club see him as a long term solution. A short term contract and then look for a longer term solution in the summer makes sense.
  10. Some much need cover at CB. I really doubt he is going to been seen at the cup final (other than on the bench) no football in 6 months, barely knows his team mates names and no competitive game before the final it would be bad idea to try shoe horn him in. Stephens and Yoshida are at least forming some sort of understanding throwing in Caceres would be mad.
  11. And all I did is point out that these "theoretical" fans who could do every away game but not single home game probably exist in single number most likely the number 0. Shouldn't stop people getting upset about it though. I have said all along the number of games, home or away, should have been the fairest criteria the club could use and I stick with that but in reality how many semi-regular match attending saints fans have missed out on a ticket due to the way the club have chosen to sell them a few I'm sure but not many I bet.
  12. I've said all along it should have just been on games attended home or away fairest way to do it. I just find it amusing that there are a number of people claiming to be super fans because they could manage to get to a load of away games including abroad..... but somehow doing a couple of homes games is just to difficult.
  13. Good news at least the legion of saints fans who managed to attend every away game in league, cups and Europe but couldn't manage a couple of home games because of the distance will have a chance at cup final tickets now...
  14. Les's list all worked out for next summer... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2692430-20-starlets-whose-stock-has-plummeted-in-the-201617-season
  15. TBF according to the, article the cyclist didn't get away unpunished Father-of-one Anthony, who lives in the city centre, was issued with a fixed penalty notice for riding through a traffic light on the bicycle
  16. I wouldn't worry about it Zlatan will probably be told to target Cedric...
  17. Pretty much my take on it someone didn't read the contract properly resulting in a bit of a cock up.
  18. I'd be amazed if there are many people who managed to do every away game including three Europa and all the EFL aways but somehow couldn't make it down to SMS a couple of times. I'm pretty sure there aren't many people in this particular boat.
  19. What's the bloke banging the AMs misses while he is at the football called...
  20. For those desperate enough Daily Mail competition to win tickets to the final http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4226944/Manchester-United-v-Southampton-Win-EFL-Cup-final-tickets.html?ITO=1490
  21. Good article on the rise of a new breed of DMs. Romeu gets a mention or two. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/02/10/premier-league-awash-new-kind-midfielder-water-carriers-20/
  22. Yeah I needed two together got on at 10 that day and though the lower tier was marked as having limited availability their wasn't a single seat that wasn't grey.
  23. Arse I couldn't get tickets down there as they were all sold out by the time I came to ST with no EFL games.
  24. We also played a weakened side in the EFL game against Arsenal in fact we played a weakened side in all the EFL games up to Liverpool. It wasn't like we put out our best 11 in all those EFL games. All the weakened teams we put out in the EFL were still competitive though unlike the FA cup team put out against Arsenal which would have struggled against Eastleigh.
