Two weeks ago I'd have been desperate to see Austin thrown straight in but the players from the last two games have done so well I'm a bit more chilled about it now. So if Austin needs to wait a a few games to get in on the action I'm cool with that.

Shane Long is a bargain compared to that....

I don't think I've ever heard a Liverpool fan on Talksport that had a scouse accent.....

Half expecting Mane to play an absolute blinder in this game.......
-
Can't beat a bit of fist pumping..................errr that may of come out sounding dirtier than I meant

Mane won't be here next season, Davis is pushing 30 and JWP is terrible as an AM/10 so we do need someone in that position, weather that's Vilhena or some one else, we need more attacking midfield options.

Antonio used to do that weird dance thing back in league one.

Klopp wants to play him as a front two with his new striker Cualker...

I think you need to look at the big picture, if Pelle leaves. What about the massive slump in the local economy when the sale of hair products drops by 50%....

Southampton new boy Charlie Austin will not be rushed, says Ronald Koeman http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11700/10134302/southampton-new-boy-charlie-austin-will-not-be-rushed-says-ronald-koeman

The Liverpool fans at work described him as "adequate" and "OK but probably not worth the money we paid". I guess when you move to a big club the fans expect outstanding every game. Where as at saints fans are a bit more forgiving only expect good every game.

What about super sub Tadic? I'm not expecting Austin to be walking straight into the team I expect he will be introduced slowly depending on fitness (he is just coming back from an injury).

Our is it more to do with us going five at the back with two defensive mids in front and keeping Yoshida away from the starting 11 perhaps? Easily our best keeper but he's not had to do anything since he came back as the two teams we've played have mustered one shot on target between them even Kelvin Davis would look good with those sort of stats.

Don't know but just went on to Redcafe and saw a thread about Morgan....errr they don't seem to like him much at the moment http://www.redcafe.net/threads/morgan-schneiderlin-2015-16-bench-performances.406512/page-49 What a disappointing signing. A nothing player so far. He can't even get the things right that he was supposed to be good at. Been really poor lately. Not starting XI material IMO. Worrying performance. These are the games when you want him to stand up and be counted. Totally invisible and really quite poor. Positional discipline was shocking for someone who is reasonably famed for it. Can't believe they are talking about the same Morgan we all rated....wonder if he'd like to come back:(

According to the article he is an attack minded midfielder who likes playing the 10 role seems like that would be a good edition to the squad doesn't it? The Feyenoord midfielder is attacking minded, which is why he has struggled to break into the side this season as he can be lazy defensively when used as part of a midfield three. His best position is as a number ten, with his movement being one of the major strengths to his game. He knows when to stay deep and when to make surging runs into the box. He is also an excellent finisher with both his feet and his head. As expected from a Dutch youth international, Vilhena is very good when passing the football, with the ability to play defence-splitting passes.

seems like he found some answers......

Liverpool fans on talk ****e not that impressed with him either ?
-
A front three of (old) Jrod, Austin and Mane/Long would be pretty bloody good....
-
Personally I blame the new stadium announcer and her high heels.....

I'm pretty sure our three other keeper, who have played this season, wish our defence had been as solid as it has been the last two games when they had played. Forster hardly needed to be in goal the last two games.
-
On his day he is but he has been very inconsistent this season. Still he seems to up his game against the big boys so no doubt he will play hopefully alongside a nice fresh Clasie.

Age has nothing to do with it he is about the same age as Ross Barkley and Raheem Sterling don't see anyone banging on about their age. The truth is he is a decent squad player but we have other midfielders who are better. Take nothing away from yesterday he had a good game and it was an excellent free kick.
