Is a fair point. Where would you stand on Moyes at Everton he was consistent and most would say he did a good job yet quite a few on here already saying no thanks. If he could achieve that at saints would people be happy? Get the feeling a lot of saints fans would see 10 years in around the top 6 or 7 as mediocrity these days.........

Looking at his wiki page (I know) Koeman seems to start off all right then it all goes south after 12 months or so. He seems to have moved around quite a few clubs (admittedly famous European ones) not sure if he'd be right for us.

I know it is a results business at the end of the day and Nigels results weren't great in the PL but it does leave a sour taste that we got rid of a guy who came across as loyal and genuinely thankful for being our manager. A guy that came across as being as much a part of the whole set up as the fans and replaced him with guy who really wasn't that bothered about saints at all and blew us off at the first opportunity.

The point I'm making is the new board make a statement it's all bull**** and lies people won't believe we are looking for a decent new manager or want to push on....it's all over. Yet they lapped up NC pushing for the champions league despite that being highly unlikely ....makes it very easy to spot the agendas at the moment
