  1. The big owner and his Canadian sidekick are putting 100% of the blame completely with the players. They are not happy at all. One thinks they need to look closer to home.
  2. https://leics.police.uk/news-appeals/news/2018/10/28/king-power-stadium-incident-five-believed-dead Five people are believed to have died when a helicopter crashed outside the King Power Stadium yesterday evening (Saturday 27 October). The five people were on board the helicopter when the incident happened. While formal identification has not yet taken place, they are believed to be Leicester City Football Club chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, two members of his staff, Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, pilot Eric Swaffer and passenger Izabela Roza Lechowicz. The force has been working to ensure that all the relevant next of kin had been informed prior to this information being confirmed publicly. The aircraft came down in a car park near the stadium shortly after 8.30pm with Leicestershire Police, East Midlands Ambulance Service and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service all responding to the incident. No one else is believed to have been injured. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) is leading the investigation into the accident and a cordon remains in place at the scene while enquiries continue. Leicestershire Police will be supporting the AAIB in its investigation, liaising closely with Leicester City Football Club as enquiries continue. Superintendent Steve Potter said: “This is an incredibly tragic incident in which five people are understood have lost their lives. “Emergency services were immediately on scene when the crash happened, working to put out the fire and gain access to the helicopter in attempts to reach those inside. Despite those efforts, there were no survivors. “The AAIB is now leading an investigation to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the crash and investigators will remain at the scene to complete their initial enquiries. It is likely to take several days to fully complete the necessary work and to safely deal with the scene of this tragic accident, during that time we ask that both the media and public resist speculating around the cause of the crash. “We appreciate that both the public and media were keen to be updated on the circumstances and to confirm if those on board the helicopter had survived, but before any detail could be issued publicly, it was vital that all immediate next of kin were informed of the tragic outcome. As our communities will understand, this was a matter that needed to be handled sensitively and with dignity, with the families of the deceased being at the heart of our response, which involved other agencies. “Our thoughts today are with the families of those who have sadly died, with Leicester City Football Club, and with both football supporters and the wider local community who have all been impacted by the events of last night and the news that those on board the aircraft have not survived.” The AAIB and Leicestershire Police are asking that anyone who witnessed the crash to call 101 quoting incident number 546 of 28 October 2018.
  3. Chairman confirmed to have been killed along with 4 others. RIP.
  4. I’m still trying to work out how Austin managed to tackle Ings not just once, but twice during the game. Comical stuff.
  5. News agencies and TV know exactly who was on board, the helicopter was filmed taking off. The delay in reporting any news is for obvious reasons. Only one way this is going to end unfortunately.
  6. Few reports now that the owner, wife, pilot and sporting director have all been killed. Hopefully false rumours
  7. Very sad and hopefully there weren't any members of the public still milling around the ground who got caught up in it either. Can't see our game being on this week, and it shouldn't be IMO.
  8. Obviously Ings. The difference in him from first few games to now is stark. Slowly dragging him down to our level.
  9. If their owner was on the helicopter, there's a good chance this game won't take place.
  10. Fingers crossed he pulls through. Early 60's is no age these days.
  11. I literally can't put into words how poor Austin and Romeu were. It was beyond belief.
  12. The club panicked big time after keeping hold of MP too long. Hughes was a panic option, and after keeping us up, felt they had to give him a contract. There's no way that **** Reed will admit he's got it wrong for the third time.
  13. Sounds like he'll fit right in long term!
  14. It's another terrible league so we might just get away with it again. But we will eventually, without doubt. It's exactly the same as Sunderland and Villa a few years back.
  15. I’d rather he never played for us again but we can’t have it all.
  16. People calling for his head had better forget it, he isn’t going anywhere unfortunately.
  17. Austin was pathetic, absolutely pathetic. You won’t see a worse CF performance in any league. Get back to the Wessex you fat ****
  18. Gunn - excellent backup and probably our future number 1 Vestergarrd - Partnership with Hoedt is a disaster. Would like to see him with Yoshida Armstrong - not played in his best position, can't really comment Moi - doesn't look anywhere near good enough. Needs to influence games more so I'd get him more central Ings - started great, we now appear to be doing our magic on him Basically, mpre terrific summer business from the three idiots.
  19. He's an ex Wessex League bricklayer earning £60k a week, by far his biggest contract. Since he joined us, he's set himself up for life, cares more about horse racing and couldn't particularly give a toss anymore.
  20. Nearly 3 years ago. Just because he's pretty useless now, doesn't change anyone being happy with it back in 2016.
  21. Now we have Austin tweeting rubbish about how the fans need to get behind them, liking tweets about how we 'can't moan when players leave if this continues'.... how about turn up for once Charlie, rather then sticking your namesake up your nose, and then you might get more support. I haven't actively disliked a Saints player in years, but he comes across an utter tit.
  22. Their little fans still trying to kick off 3 hours after full time. Complete embarrassment, they really are. Little noddy club
  23. As I predicted, AFCB were absolutely woeful. They never, ever turn up against us. We should have won the game with the chances we had. Saying that, go and win the game FFS. We were playing against L1 quality today.
  24. They’re so confident, bless their little hearts. And why wouldn’t they be? Be funny if they do their usual though.
  25. That's a decent option but can be queued as far back as Hurn Sports Centre on a bad day. Another good option is take the A35 as far as Christchurch, cut across past the station thorugh Fairmile and join the A338 there. Or just go straight on at Christchurch and don't use the Spur Road at all.
