Wembley has the Champions League final on 1st June too so they’d be right up the shit 😂 Surprised at the interest in this game. None of the regular away travellers I know are going, we’re far more interested in Birmingham, Blackburn etc. Guess it’s a good opportunity for those that don’t normally travel to get to Anfield, which is a depressingly shit place to watch football.

The club enforcing sitting elsewhere is the big worry for me. I'd rather have a wank with a rusty knife then stand anywhere near the freaks in the Northam these days. Hopefully they bin this well meaning yet awful idea.

Good trip. Decent night on Friday in Sheffield which is a great place. Rotherham is your typical northern town that’s dwarfed by a big city nearby, the locals all seemed friendly enough though. The game was extremely comfortable right from the offset and it was clear that we were going through the motions second half. Without their excellent goalkeeper it would have been 4 or 5. Brooks is a brilliant signing and will prove to be too good at this level. It’s going to be a brilliant run-in, and I think it’ll go right down to that last game at Elland Road.

Come off it you two. It’s automatic or a Wembley win. We’re probably the best team in the league.

Merson and Prutton spent 30 minutes earlier seriously discussing Hamilton’s move to Ferrari. SSN are really struggling and it’s lovely to see.

As a kid of the 90’s, it still feels very weird selling a player to Juventus. Especially one who can’t get in our team in the second division.

Oh I don’t think he’s lying and he certainly believes everything he’s saying, I’m just not sure his Twitter feed would be quite so obsessed with it all if it wasn’t his income. It must be exhausting.

He’s clearly the best player to have ever played for us, by some distance. I don’t have to agree with his views to think that. People forget too that his views are his income stream now. The more outlandish they are, the more the pounds roll in I guess.

Not overly enthusiastic about this to be honest. No way Juventus are parting with £40million in the summer so we’re just losing some squad depth for the run in. Rothwell doesn’t look to have anywhere near the ability, but I guess some would argue he’s better suited to this level.

I’d have been pleased with this signing if we were in the PL. He’ll be fantastic at this level.

We’ve been fantastic but no way Swansea will be this bad second half. Another goal and it’s game over though.

We all moved out of Block 42 a couple of years back as got fed up being surrounded by spotty oiks. That did tie in with all of us being the wrong side of 30 also, and finding the ‘bantz’ increasingly fucking tedious. I commend the club for at least trying, but this sounds like utter hell.

One thing we do brilliantly is winning back possession inside 5 seconds of losing it. It’s crazy how often it happens, and Downes is a master at it.

Ipswich look so poor compared to us. Think they’ll falter eventually quite heavily.

Those first big contracts are life changing though, so I can’t blame them. JJM has already received life changing amounts of money and he’s not even been at Chelsea a year. It’s even harder to keep them when they’ve no connection to Saints through family/support. If I had the opportunity to move from Crystal Palace youth to a top 6 youth team and double my wage it would be an easy decision.

Coming out second ruined the rest of the draw too. Love the anticipation of seeing who’s left.

Couldn’t have been a more dull draw. Potentially brilliant draw for Eastleigh though!
