As much as nobody likes Liverpool, it’s funny seeing Newcastle fuck this up.

We overspent in January without doubt, on mostly utter shit. We’ve more then clawed that back though. I think SR are actually in profit on fees in/out over their time here now. Fraser could turn out to be a really good signing and he was a loan, so no problem with that. But if Adams goes, we need to spend on a striker as I think our promotion hopes will depend on that. Just IMO of course.

In hindsight he probably should have started instead of the young nipper. Will become a regular starter IMO and I’ve no problem with that.

Fraser is a bit of quality at this level, that’s been clear. Downes looks excellent.

I think we can all agree that the potential outgoings are the major concern. Sell Adams without an adequate replacement and it’ll be as bad as appointing Nathan Jones.

8 goals and 7 assists in 76 games in the Championship. 18 goals and 35 assists in 173 games in the PL. He could be a threat at this level if he fancies it I guess.

Signing Fraser pretty much confirms that one of Tella/Sulamana will be off then. Absolutely no need to ‘strengthen’ that area otherwise. And I use the word strengthen loosely.

Salisu wasn’t shit, neither was DCC particularly and that’s a loan anyway. Diallo and Orsic are about it so far.

I could have sold JWP, Lavia, Livramento etc. That wasn’t difficult, and neither was getting good fees for them. He hasn’t yet managed to offload any of the utter shite though, and our incomings are mostly due to Martin so far. He talks a good game but he’s not done anything particularly good or bad yet. Guess the next week will tell us a lot, I hope you’re right.
