That pre draw is such a joke. Supposedly due to the new European format meaning they’d be unable to play each other. No doubt the EFL were only too delighted to accommodate keeping them all apart. This. Vast majority are forgetting that we played 2/3 of this match with an extra player. And still managed fuck all. I’m struggling to see how so many are seeing a positive from that statistic.

You’re absolutely right. Not scoring against 10 men for 60 minutes is an extremely positive start to a PL season. Unfortunately, most teams will have 11 for the whole game. We were nailed on for relegation before a ball was kicked and guess what, we still are. No amount of pretty passing will change that.

Interesting that in 2015, UKIP received 3.8m votes. Fast forward 9 years, and Reform received 4m. UKIP came second in 120 constituencies that year, while Reform came second in 98 constituencies yesterday. 44.1% in Clacton voted UKIP, whilst 46.2% voted Reform, meaning Farage factor added just over 1% compared to 2015. I’m interested to see what happens to the right going forward. Are these levels their peak? The Tories really are stuck between a rock and a hard place with how to play the Reform factor now.

We’ve already held a referendum on Brexit and we need to uphold the vote of the British people because we can’t possibly hold another referendum despite views possibly changing blah blah blah. Of course, this opinion will be the complete opposite from Reform voters for PR, who will scream for it despite us already having a referendum on it.

They didn’t need it to be deep in the FPTP system. It doesn’t matter if a majority was 10,000 or 15,000, and so put their resources to the right places. For once, they’ve got it tactically correct and played a blinder.
