  1. I don't doubt there was an element of back pedalling from NC and that he had to manage the situation after a bullish decision, I'm not an NC phile but the national media joke thing in it's fullest context is nonsense, it did us far more good than harm and that's my point we don't need to jump on the press bandwagon, not saying we have to repel the media just manage it, we're in the driving seat, not them
  2. Cork, Lee, Lambert, Lallana and Morgan keep 'em fit and improving and by golly they'll be the envy of many a team
  3. slightly polarised view to one end of the spectrum and in most carries some merit but 'c*cked up' and 'national joke' I beg to differ
  4. interesting indeed, carefully managing this scenario puts in the driving seat
  5. was he media savvy or back pedalling, I'll concede it may of been a bit of both but defo less of the latter
  6. anybody I call worthy of their interest in our club would see right through that "South Coast Club" thing - that's called being media savvy, no such thing as negative press - although I doubt it was that engineered

  15. Look at Coventry, their owners have invested a similar amount over albeit a slightly longer time - we are very well placed, with diligent and intelligent owners and I expect us to become some sort of benchmark in the coming years what with the new rules coming into place, the futures bright............
  16. Think about it Turtle, the media need access
  17. The media need to keep us onside me thinks On a less inciting tone it looks to me that NA is very much a closed book especially compared to media hoare Harry, NA is dignified and respectful but can't help feeling he's a little irratated by it all to say the least
  18. fkin great, we're starting to reel in all the non believers who could not cope with the lower league - it's ok you can come back to the fold now
  19. lol not at you but west ham - woe is me
  20. I really think the likes of Swansea, Norwich and us have hit a sweet spot at the right time, well run clubs, sustainable and good upcoming managers. Hoping it's a new era where managers and teams form long partnerships oh and can we have Surman back
