You stand in the Northam I assume ???
-
Plus the usual "We hate Pompey" chant What the hell that has anything to do with the Match on the pitch beggars belief The Wonderful Northam will most likely be the ones that disrupt the Team most today "One Alan Pardew" ???? YES, there WAS, but he has GONE Singing that Stupid chant will really help the players on the pitch won't it ??? Think about it you Northamers

Today is Very important for Southampton Football Club Today is the day that we MUST put all that has happened over the last week behind us Today is the day that we MUST unite behind the Team on the pitch, and Dean Wilkins on the touch line Today is the day we MUST Cheer like Hell The ONLY important thing today is THREE POINTS I am asking ALL Saints Fans NOT to resort to Booing or chanting negatives in Cortese's direction WHY ???? Because ALL we know for 100% sure is that Pardew & Co have been relieved of their duties WE KNOW NOTHING ELSE Today is FOOTBALL DAY, so COME ON YOU SAINTS FANS Cheer Saints to victory !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Out of the other 4, I personally only rate Zola. Was under severe restraints at West Ham Phil Brown, not bad, but no thanks Hoddle and Shearer, no thanks, Yesterday's men IMHO But, people have got to realise that we are still in Division Three (called Div 1 ) There is a limit to the calibre of Manager that we can ATTRACT, even after allowing for no debt, large crowds, new Stadia etc etc It's like the head chasing the tail, we have to get to the CCC and beyond before we can exercise real clout That's the legacy of falling all the way down from the Prem
-
Yes, no hurry. Let's get another Home defeat out of the way eh !!!!
-
OR The longer the announcement takes means that after the demise of Pardew, prospective Quality Candidates are more than wary of coming to Cortese's Castle
-
You mean the Old English Sheepdog from Crufts ??
-
I think another 0-3 loss And our great CEO will STILL think he can "mend" us just like you can mend a Machine Nicola, you can't Football is a HUMAN thing
-
With respect, you miss my point Of course there are gagging contracts, but you do not have them handy when an incident which causes INSTANT dismissal to be implemented For example, if an "incident" occurred half way up the M1, you don't think the coach driver has a few copies handy ?? Just in case ?? Can you imagine the scenario ?? Punches thrown, fight broken up, then Cortese says " Oh lads, before you go, just sign these " NO. If the Threesome HAVE signed gagging orders, then their departure was PLANNED IF their departure was INSTANT, there would have been no TIME toprepare such documents, and under the circumstances of INSTANT dismissal, they would have most likely told Cortese to get stuffed
-
No, you are wrong in your assumptions. We ALL have to accept how English Football is run, until the powers that be change it On match days, I cheer ALL Saints players, whether they be English, Foreign, or Intergalactical I fully supported the Leibherr takeover, and in general have supported Cortese BUT NOT BLINDLY, Everybody makes mistakes, but not all recognise them or admit to them Given a choice, I would have much preferred to be taken over by UK people, but that was never going to happen If I see something that I consider wrong, or not in the best interests of Saints, then I will speak out about it. It does not matter whether they are from this country or not. It comes under the heading of Free Speech. But, as I have said many times past, I have a rant on THIS site, come match days I am firmly behind Owner, Manager, and Team Rupert Lowe ??? You really do not know me. If for no other reason, I am well known on here for detesting the man and all he stood for
-
12 inches ???
-
You mean the same sort of continuity he would have been thinking about when Pardew was appointed ?
-
A good theory, but, with respect, a Major Flaw Had Pardew's departure date had been "fixed" as you suggest, then Cortese would have had time to line up a replacement He did not do so, and we currently have a "Temp" in charge, whilst Cortese "takes his time" Therefore I do not wholly concur with your theory
-
I'm basically against Foreign Managers running supposed English Teams, and I am against the mass influx of Foreign players that play for supposed English Teams, so does that make me racist ?, or just that I prefer English Teams to be run by English people, and have English players in them. At present, the ENGLISH PL isn't For example, the easiest job in the world is being England Manager, you only have circa 30 English players left in the Prem. The Squad forms itself, and yet English people are the first to moan if the England National Team do not perform well
-
Thank you for your cynicism All three going at the same time, to me, points towards a Planned "sacking" For example, IF they were involved in a "fracas", it would have to have involved "others" So why no mention of any "action" against them, or even an acknowledgement that someone else was involved Or do you think it was just the Top Three of Team just having an argument between themselve To have a "fight", you need an opponent
-
Who don't I want as the New Manager ??? Most likely the one they appoint
-
No, sorry, I just do not believe that the three major people running the First Team were at the same place, at the same time, and were involved in the same "incident" The odds on that are too great IMHO It's a classic scenario for a Planned Sacking, but where the logic on that falls down is Cortese not having someone lined up to effect a smooth transition You would not get three people to agree to a gagging order IF the Sackings were "instant" All three would have "Left the building" PDQ Only Cortese can explain the circumstances, but he is not likely to do that
-
OK, but what I can't get my head around is this The "situation" that led to The Gang Of Three being instantly dismissed was, by definition, instant So, how could a mutual "gagging" contract have been implemented ??? The only way would have been for Cortese to have been carrying three said contracts around in his pocket, on the off chance that a serious incident to occur And do you think that all three, having just committed the "evil deed" would have meekly said, prior to exiting the building, " OK Nicola, lend us a pen, we'll sign a gagging order right now " " Something is rotten in the state of Denmark " ( I think even Hercule Poirot would have trouble sorting out the truth on this )
-
I think it is a cast iron certainty that Cortese will appoint a Foreign Manager IMHO God help us
-
I think he is what his name infers ie GROSS
-
Thank you and Goodnight Gordon Brown
-
And they are STILL in Serie B, 5 seasons without Promotion ?? So he's pretty good then ??
-
The question to ask is WHY did he resign after only two games ??? I really do not believe that he got disallusioned and/or fell out of love with Football
-
Coppel ??? I was wondering that too. It seems strange that someone who has lived and breathed Football all his life could suddenly not care a toss about it He should have been appointed before Pardew IMHO, I think he would be the one to please most Saints Fans
-
Pardew And when Cortese found out, he sacked him Simples
