  1. Indeed... anyways Del, where was my DM?!
  2. I find it amusing that people are wound up by it and have bitten. Bless em.

  5. Mentioning that stuff in the same breath as this additional road tax rather makes Duckies point.
  6. He'd be a great signing. Proven at this level, and lots of scope to improve. I'd imagine he'd be expensive though.
  7. Tella too. Didn't play for us until in his 20's.
  8. Cool name tho. I can't think of another player who's name is 75% made up of one letter. Edit: huge fail - Dodd.
  9. Not sure mate. The usual twitter stuff, but any rumour that we want to buy a city kid who's never played men's football is probably credible!
  10. If we drop £15/£20m on a lad who's never played men's football, SR have gone truly nuts. The collective spend on Baz, Larios, and Edozie was bad enough. I'm hopeful there's more common sense being employed in our decision making department now.
  11. Thanks for that 👍
  12. I didn't watch yesterday, but I've read comments that players were giving but not going, and that the players ahead of the ball were very static. Not a great sign if so.
  13. Disappeared
  14. I wouldn't start either of them. I'd buy and start someone capable of delivering in this league, this season. Another kid who hasn't kicked a ball in men's football is not what we need.

  16. "We" may mean us in this country, albeit without the infrastructure to support it. There's zero chance that the rest of the world will move that way though, and I won't get started on the environmental damage caused by that alleged environmental exercise.
  17. Won 3-1 today away to Torquay United. 2 goals for Princewill Ehibhatiomhan and 1 for Tyler Dibling. https://torquayunited.com/report-united-1-3-southampton-b/ https://www.devonlive.com/sport/football/match-reports/torquay-united-1-southampton-b-8638825
  18. He was always a cracking player to be fair, just not quite suited to us or the PL.
  19. Yep...cars that are currently ULEZ compliant will not remain compliant for the entirety of their serviceable life...the parameters for compliant vehicles will change in time.
  20. My guess (🤞🙏🤞🙏) is that McCarthy is off. I'd rather never see Lyanco near our team ever again.
  21. I'm not sure how I feel about CBD, but a shift to decaf tea and coffee after midday has made a huge difference for me. I also find that having nothing on my mind is massive. If something is overhanging from the day, I make a plan to deal with it.
  22. Stephens will be a real help this season, ditto Manning - I really like him. JWP will be off though and I suspect S Armstrong will be in/out of the team. That leaves no leaders in midfield - we need an experienced head in the middle of the pitch.

  24. Very good. Took me a while 😂

    Cost of Living

The drop in house prices would need to be huge to bring prices to a level where there can be mass house purchases. The negative equity caused by it will likely be ultra recessionary, and we'll probably have another banking crisis. No government would even contemplate that, let alone action it. I want a solution, but I don't see one as realistically achievable. We're poles apart on this, so I'll say no more.
