The museum could have a roller coaster attached to it. On the roller coaster cars attach a big screen that coincides with defeats and going down the league, making you feel sick and the pleasure of climbing up coinciding with victories and moving up the league. For miserable gits like myself, you could have the ride of gloom which disappears into a black hole at the start only to re-appear at the end.
