You couldn't troll this performance. It is abject and that's the truth.
-
It's not just Forster. The team is not up to Premier standard plus badly managed.
-
It's a business and will be made for business reasons. No room for sentiment. The days when football clubs had a real empathy for the fans are becoming few. Having said that, it is still true of the smaller clubs in the lower leagues and non league clubs and it is why some people now watch this level rather than the Premier league.

People will not admit their mistakes. They will re-align themselves, re-write history etc. Happened in 2004 and will happen again.
-
Three match ban confirmed. It's official.
-
Yes, and I wish the Board was as well. This is not a time for sitting on the fence. Need to make decisions now.
-
We have gone for the 'cheap' option time and time again. You get what you pay for.
-
It has been hard pointing it out but the signs have been racking up over the last three years. It was not obvious to many people due to propaganda and very convincing papering of the cracks. But I could see it and a few others could as well. Lets hope we have enough left to survive this year.
-
Agreed. This crisis did not happen overnight.
-
Will play havoc with the fixture list.
-
Are you serious?

Getting relegated is hard to stomach. It is best avoided but can be managed if you use money wisely to make a quick return. But no guarantee of promotion and then it is harder to stay up. It's frustrating because three or four years ago we were in a very strong position but failed to move up a rung die to a ponderous and indecisive board, imo. Ultimately, I still think the Board were happy to settle for 'being in the Premiership' If you like, as long as we are 17th or above.
-
Isn't that what we did in 2004?
-
I see what you are saying, but lets flip this, maybe Puel was getting the best out of a team that was essentially not as good as we like to think it is. Reason: Lack of investment and poor buys. Responsibility ? Les and the board.

Post of the week.

Risky business. If we get VVD money lets not buy more mediocre. Would rather keep it in case we get relegated, clear out the rubbish and rebuild for promotion.
-
Think we need a stronger manager. Would imagine some of the players have too much influence in the dressing room and there is a feeling that the players are not galvanised as a team.
-
I am sure it was about the 'VVD move'. However, the situation in the table cannot have gone unnoticed. The board has been very indecisive and ponderous in the past three years which would suggest very little response to the rapidly growing crisis. Hope I am wrong.
-
Say what you like. I have been consistent in my warnings. If you could not see what was going wrong, then don't be hard on yourself, you were in the majority. But, just remember there were a few of us who warned of the scenario we find ourselves in.
-
Yes, but the trend was not to re- invest but to sell our best assets. I could see we had reached a high point and complacency was starting to set in about our premier status. I could see this happening as part of the bigger picture which makes me even more perceptive when you think about it.
-
As I have said for the last three summer transfer windows and it is well documented, we have been slow, indecisive and complacent to strengthen the squad. I have been lambasted for my views but I could see the complacency and decline setting in before most. The same thing happened in our last decline in 2004 and I warned of the consequences and was proven right.

Yes. And we have plenty of Klingons on the starboard bow !
-
There are too many like this. I have had it levelled against me for years, I should think some are eating their own words now.

Probably collecting the VVD cheque off...
