Not even plans, just pictures. There are likely to be some form of plan behind it, even if it's just to create some CGI mock up's and watch MLG get mugged off on SWF. I think people will take this seriously once formal planning applications are submitted and we have some detail other than some impressive looking pictures.

I know it's not just the capacity increase which can generate revenue. To rebuild the stadium and develop the surrounding area still requires a monumental investment in comparison to the training complex which you keep harping on about. I don't think many dispute that Cortese probably does have a desire to redevelop the stadium but the fact that there are literally a few digital mocks up devoid of any real detail or information knocking about means that we are some way off seeing much formally commence. Especially as the risk-reward considerations heavily rely on us being a successful premier league team, a fact which you just can't grasp.

Do you not see a clear difference between training facilities and a 50K steater stadium plus development of surrounding area in terms on scale, cost, red tape etc etc etc? Not to mention that you don't need an ongoing cost benefit measure for a training facility.

Mate, don't embarrass yourself further. At this moment in time, these are just some digital drawings and are as likely not to happen as they are to happen. People who go on those stadium tours get told that the club must consolidate in the prem before any further expansion of St Marys are done. I'm sure the intent is there but too many variables involved to even start getting excited by some nice pictures.

What would a massive holding CM provide? Morgan has most interceptions and tackles in the whole league. You'd be hard pushed to find a better DM at the moment.

No I got it thanks mate. Same players but some have lost their cutting edge in front of goal at a crucial stage of the season for us. This is a more important factor in my mind over tactics at the moment. Do you not think we had enough chances to win the game on Saturday?

It's more a debate as to why we only have 1 point despite 66% possession against QPR and 60% possession against Norwich which many more chances than the oppo. Is it tactics, players, both? Don't see anyone taking comfort in that, more over trying to generate debate on a football forum. If we had only had 10% possession and 1 shot on goal in each game yet won, I presume no one would mention those stats because we'd all be happy as larry that we've won and no one, least not Mr Sanchez would ever point it out?

Agree with a lot of that, top post. Barry was kicked off not606 because he was negative last season when we were winning. Unsurprised by his stance this season therefore.

Be a pretty boring football forum if we can't discuss the certain dynamics which have got us to where we are today. If the result is all that is worth talking about, we should just have a match day thread and a match reaction thread on here and that can be that. The point I made in the OP is that we do create chances but we've been guilty of not taking them. We're not as impotent as people are making out. In addition, for the 60% + of the time we have the ball in a game, the oppo can't score. Possession counts for a hell of a lot which is why ball retention is a valued part of the game.

Lol, possession counts for nothing! Maybe we should run away from the ball instead and always make sure we get no more than 30% of the ball.
