  1. So in summary, are you saying that Jos is clumsy? If so, I think I may agree
  2. I'd probably say b) Just as he's about to make a tackle, I'm sure he'll be thinking about what pap from Liverpool was saying about him on the internet, telling hundreds of readers how he's out of his depth and too clumsy. Undoubtedly, this negativity results in hesitation leading to a rash and clumsy challenge from Jos leading to a goal. So you see, it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy which Jos can't get out of and internet warriors should always remember that every post has a consequence.
  3. He probably reads this forum and shows that constant negativity towards some players does have an impact. People like Saint Charlie who has been on his back all season should take note
  4. you've spent more time than most on here talking about the chairman over the last 3-4 years. Has anyone found his spoon yet?
  5. Calling someone a **** for not condoning violence at football. Nice touch of irony there, I know what I'd consider to be more ****ish.
  6. Every week, a differen't Ramirez thread. Some fans just don't get that you have certain players on the pitch who try and do something different or unexpected which will create chances. The downside is that when you try risky stuff, mostly it won't come off. He has to pick his moments a bit better but he can create and score for us as he has shown plenty of times this season.
  7. Redknapp's post match interview was embarrassing.
  8. Come off it Charming, it's Friday and this time next year we will be 1 game away from securing a European place. I know you'd be well up for a European tour as well.
  9. There is no such thing is there?! We are on an upward trajectory and and we will go as far as we will, we can't go any further than that, otherwise we will need to stop and wait for ourselves to catch up!!
  10. Why would be only "look to finish" up to 8th season after next? We should be looking to finish top 4 next season IMO and I know that NC agrees with me!
  11. You obviously just don't believe as strongly as I do. With Cortese and Pochettino in charge, ANYTHING is possible.
  12. I agree, I think we're in with a shout of winning the Europa League next season at least. Probably need another season to win the Champions League ala Porto.
  13. Don't have a problem with anyone elses opinion. Just IMO, if a lot of people say that a player isn't that great it's mostly because they are just simply aren't. If you rate him than fair enough but I can't recall an England team in my life time so short on options up front.
  14. My original comment come from someone on this thread calling people who don't rate Welbeck as an England player (let alone as the main 2nd striker) as "ignorant". How is that for accepting another opinion?
  15. I bet some members of the Welbeck defence league would have been happy to put the boot into Rodriguez earlier in the season...waste of money, not scoring enough etc etc.
  16. Completely agree. It's funny how some will take the polar opposite view just so that they are seen as some kind of enlightened minority with a better insight than the majority. The reason so many people don't rate Welbeck is because they watch him play and see the countless chances missed or bottled. When a truly class player emerges, not many people ever disagree with the quality of that player
  17. True, but you have to be in tip top shape to press as he's been doing. The decision may be taken away from him.
  18. As the home side, I would think we would be protected a bit better from the physical stuff. Crowd need to make it intimidating for the ref to make sure we get the right decisions.
  19. Still a strong AM 3 though. Shows where our strength and depth has been this season
  20. Rodriguez would be a big miss due to his recent form. Puncheon we can win without but as usual, Fox coming in is the greatest concern.
  21. I think the key is to get the right balance in the squad. When you have a partnership which has been as effective as Cork and Morgan, I doubt you would go into pre-season looking to replace either. However, you don't want to be reliant on that partnership to the extent that you can't win without either of them. Like you I would suggest that JWP isn't ready yet, not in a CM of two. I would think that signing an older head who appreciates that they won't necessarily play every week but has the desire to compete for a starting spot would be ideal.
  22. Idiotic
