What a bizarre thread. Haven't seen him do anything which coukd be considered rude. Perhaps more aloof than Adkins was but he used to get loads of criticism for his "media persona" so I guess you can't win either way.

Re Mayuka, Pochettino has already said, when asked, that Mayuka needs to work harder to force his way into the side. Pretty clear that his effort and/or ability hasn't been good enough in training. If Mayuka can't or won't do what's required, he'll be sold or loaned out.

The things which are relevant are the clubs plan, the players plan and who else may be interested. Cortese won't be looking at the all time record Saints signings index before making his decision. 3.5 million may be a lot historically for Saints but in todays world, it's not much in this market.

Wes has been harbouring a pro-Adkins, anti-Pochettino agenda from day one. As with most agendas, trying to interpretate a situation to best fit your agenda just makes people sound ridiculous in the most part.

Subbing Lambert, resting Shaw and not starting Rodriguez last week kind of shows that he'll manage a players fitness mostly the same as anyone else, physio degree or not.

It's already happening. The panel on SSN were today saying that his signings have all been a success but the existing players let him down...did the best he could do etc etc.
