Some good contribution from a couple of lurkers.....any others out there going to be posting on here?

I'm still not sure that I've seen or heard enough to be worried about our financial position. There has been significant investment in the squad, unprecedented for us. I know the OP used the lack of a CB signing as an example but we could have got a CB if we chose to within the 30M we have spent. Added to significant investment in most area's of the club, I don't think there is an issue. I'll wait for the Sky Sports breaking news that we haven't paid the players wages before I start to worry!

Do you think it means there are financial issues either now or in the iminent future or is it just NC playing his stubborn billy big bollixs role which he has become known for? I know for example that one of the hold up's on the training ground was that Cortese wants a say in everything right down to the toliet role holders. Would a man who can't pay or has no intention of paying concern himself with such minor details?

To add to my agenda, I have to say that I heart Adkins and really hope that the team gets the results for him over the coming games as I'd love to see him here for years to come. I think the players are still working hard for him and want to do well. Until this appears to change then I think Adkins is the best man for the job. He needs more backing in January to get the right players in at the back but otherwise I don't think he's done too much wrong, certainly not enough for people to suggest that he's out of his depth......what does this actually mean anyway and how do you measure it? I find it sad and frustrating that fans who were happy to lap up the success Adkins brought just a few short months ago are now ready to turn their back on him and in some cases, would even prefer Redknapp back.

Yea, second half against Villa showed us that when he has freedom and players running off him, he can be massive for us.

My agenda is that I can't stand short term knee jerkism which plights this forum but also football in general. One week a player is amazing based on one or two performances or equally sh!t. I also hate the way that a lot of posters show absolutely no flexibility in their opinions, once they've made an assumption, that's that. It makes actually debating anything on here difficult in the most part but there are a few posters who you can have a fairly interesting debate with....Kracken, Saint Charlie, Turkish (when he's in the mood), Saint Clarke and a few others. Mostly it just doesn't happen though so I get bored and partake in a little gentle wumming from behind instead.

You constantly mock those who said that this league is easy or whatever (and there really weren't plenty saying that btw) yet seems you are more dissapointed than anyone that we're not marching up the premier league. If you were one of the enlightened who just knew that Saints would struggle this season, why are you the one acting like the biggest pussy on here about it? Maybe you actually did think that we would be fine this season. Thats the impression it gives anyway so why constantly look to mock others when a lot of people anticipated that it would be hard.

so there is no chance what so ever that there are people with agendas who feel that their nose has been put out and try to de-stabilise the current regime?

To be honest I have no problem with people griping over these things at all and agree, respect for people by and large costs nothing and better communication and servicing of the fans should be expected. However, I would much rather that these are the only issues we have to contend with, ultimately we can't argue too much about what the club has achieved over a short space of time.
