  1. Yes Morgan was at fault like you say but if Yoshida had retreated any further he'd have been in goal with Gazzaniga. He should have come towards the ball as well
  2. Whilst there is a certain level of validitiy to what you say, consider that should we drop out if the league we will offer a completely new and unique product. Seeing us play for a period of team only against the U21's and U18's will give fans the chance to really bond with the club and the novelty may make us a bigger attraction than the over inflated hype of the prem. What better way to actually develop a Southampton way all throughout the club?
  3. Lay off Saint Charlie, he's a good lad who only has our best interests at hart but clearly forgot the meds today.
  4. Apparently it's all Lallana's fault

    Cortese

He seems to be very particular in the way he wants things done and this extends to most aspect of the club. This can be a quality in some circumstances and probably well suited to towards running an investment desk succesfully. In terms of running something with the scale of a football club, you need to hire the right people and then let them get on with it.
  6. Good post
  7. Sorry, don't agree, a fullback can't always have a winger in front helping, he doesnt even bother closing players down and tries to hold hands with Yoshida constantly and just leaves HIS man in so much space it's untrue. There is a reason teams target our left hand side and that reason is Fox. ANYONE with pace will have a field day against him.
  8. Agree.
  9. Need to either get Gaston further up or get him off. Could do with pace in behind as well. And FFS saints, stop clearing or passing the ball to them on the edge of our box
  10. So we're not far too open according to Neville? Nothing more Adkins can about defensive shape...
  11. He was good against Utd in 2010.
  12. I remember the halcyon days of this forum when you could abuse someone without recieving such aggressiveness back. Shame on you. I actually think that in certain situations, Chappers may provide the bite that we need. What do you think?
  13. They might as well be at the moment. I think Fox at least would be more effective floating about, at least he might provide some kind of distraction.
  14. Maybe if some "fans" didn't continually come out with absolute horse ****e, the abuse wouldn't be necessary. I can only conclude that your brain has frozen over in Ukraine. Maybe you should stick to watching old hacks like Andriy Dyshlenkovych horse carting around a frozen pitch.
  15. FFS, what makes you even think that Chappers will be starting let alone MOTM? Next you will be suggesting Seabourne as as a floating defender.
  16. With Ramirez returning I think we're still in with a good shout. Arsenal finished third last season and look how they started!
  17. 10/10 so far, tough league with no easy games and after nearly 10 games we're still in with a chance of European football.
  18. Yes, that's about the measure of it on this place. No cause for optimism at all, we are ****, Adkins is ****, we won't improve, everyone else has better teams and better managers, we'll be down at easter. We might as well close the forum until end of season as I keep being told all the above it 100% correct so what else is there to discuss?
  19. Had you better start a thread abou this? Not sure if enough people are aware
  20. We've not even kicked a ball today, why are people still whining on like little girls? We eat point gaps up for breakfast.
  21. I think you should call it a night and go to bed mate
  22. Adkins out. Everyone is far too open.
  23. Also played that position for Young Boys. I'm sure some people on this fine forum might give a fook delldays otherwise they might have to only rely on your expert assumption that he can't play up front on his own......when he clearly can
  24. That's where he plays for Zambia.
  25. John Wedwood I believe
