I don't think they should be allowed to sign anyone to strengthen their position. They need to be punished and I cannot see any punishments happening. At the moment just a messily 10 point deduction and the ability reopened to sign players. It's mental.
-
Absolutely sickening. The clubs in the bottom 3 should do something about this, it's not fair.
-
TBF we've got a couple of weeks yet, we usually play them on their first game...so this is an improvement!
-
what a mental game this is so far. Reading don't deserve that tbf.

Luton town must be going mad. I know what they did is slightly different, but I'm sure if anyone had the real guts to look through Pompey's books there would be as good a ground as any to hit them with -20 at least. Watch the bastards now survive and get a new owner, and come through this stronger. It shouldn't be allowed, but for some reason the authorities just don't want to punish them.
-
They're getting away with it again then.

Do you miss the concourse being open after the home games?
S-Clarke replied to sotonjoe's topic in The Saints
I think it was an open for an hour after FT, a couple of the players used to go down and do interviews in the concourse too. but you're probably right, most people would have left by the time it could get going. -
Yago Falqué - just remembered we have him on loan
S-Clarke replied to Paul Chuckle's topic in The Saints
Based on Spurs fans views, and some views from people in Spain. He quite clearly has exceptional technical ability, just slightly lightweight in my first viewing of him. -
Not sure what's more ridiculous. The rumour, or the fact someone is saying he's not good enough for us.
-
Just had a read through their forums. **** me, they really don't get it do they? They think they're being so hard done by and everyone is against them. They should have been closed down long long ago. They'll prob get -10 points but that'll be it, another dodgy owner, survival in the championship and a constant repeat of what's been happening until the FL wake up and smell the coffee. The club is rotten from the ground up and it needs to be closed down and started again in a much lower league. They're bringing the game into complete disrepute.

I don't think he's fit enough to get close to our team yet. IMO.

It'll be interesting to see how he plays in a confident, stronger team. I think he's probably one of the most talented players we have. bundles of ability. -
No games are easy, and I'm more nervous about these upcoming games than those against the top teams. We always struggle at places like Watford and Millwall, it will be very tricky whatever happens. Watch Leeds get a manager in before they play us too! (they're still a very dangerous and talented side)
-
Anyone from 8th upwards is in contention for a top 2 spot if they win their game(s) in hand. If they do, we're only 3 points off 7th. It's tightened up.
-
What a bizarre sacking. Watch them slip slide away now.
-
1st would be great, but 2nd would also be great. Both have the same prize at the end of it. Norwich finished 2nd last year, and QPR finished top. Look at them this year in the premiership. Finishing top means zilch, IMO, just get up by whatever means.
-
Probably 80-85 points. Said a few weeks back that I think 2nd spot will be an unusually low total due to the nature of this league this year. There will probably be very few points between 7th and 2nd IMO.
-
I'm sure he'll pick himself up from it. At the end of the day I remember Saganowski's miss in his first or 2nd game for us, a total sitter. He then went and destroyed the league single handily for the next few months.
-
They're really a horrible little club aren't they? Didn't realise their fans were this bitter and arrogant. Horrible bunch.
-
He had a whole goal to aim for apparently, and hit it straight at green who was laid down on the ground after saving the previous shot. (that was from the commentary)
-
On paper it's not a bad run in, but I worry about playing teams battling for relegation at this stage of the season - and as we've seen all year, teams at either end can throw up surprise results. No one can predict what will happen. If we can keep ticking along as we have been, and carry on this decent unbeaten run, we'll be ok. As long as we're in the mix for the top 2 come to the final few weeks I'll be happy, I can't really see anyone running away with it - it'll be tight all the way through now.
-
A train ffs??? I'm confused! First we were on the bus, then we were all rowing in the same direction in a boat, and now we're on a train??? Hope it's the express to the PL!
-
Just to put a bit of reality into it, if the teams below us win their games in hand we're only 3 points off 7th. Long, long way to go and it's all getting very tight. One team is now primed to start moving away, and thankfully we're the side coming into form.

He will get lots of mentions and slagging off if he doesn't score a wordly. He's the new scapegoat, our fans have caught onto that and he will now be driven out of the club.
-
''Just worried that Adkins isn't as good as we thought'' are our fans for real? ''we leak goals for fun'' errrr? ''we could have done with higginbottom'' errrr again....? ''Adkins hasn't got a clue tactically'' ''why wasn't barnard on the bench?'' Seriously, what the **** is up with our fans? Some of them need to **** off and support someone else, fed up of listening to their utter drivel.
