  1. But it's still a result that would given us a kick - we now go into a big game against Burnley on a downer, loosing a last min goal is a sickener for confidence. Looking forward to Saturday, but nervous as to how easy Millwall caused us problems against our first choice backline really. Can't really ignore our results at the mo, the cold hard fact is 2 wins out of 11 - tonight was a great chance to get a win on the board
  2. are you stupid or something? He kept us in that game before their winner.
  3. I just hope this result doesn't kill our confidence, because we had a nice little unbeaten run going. Big big game on Saturday against a much much better team than Milwall, and they caused us too many problems for my liking IMO - against pretty much our first team backline. Our results at the mo aren't good enough though if we're honest, 2 wins in 11 I think.
  4. oh dear me. our home form has gone to the ****
  5. oh the useless skate ****s, no good for anything what so ever. Just finish them off, pathetic.
  6. Yeah, fair points. I do agree that on the right is his position, he kind of made that his own.
  7. HT 1-1. Pretty **** first 25-30mins, then we came to life. If we keep that level up, we'll probably win it.
  8. Chaplow has sounded pretty anonymous tbf, going to take a while for him to get back into the form he showed before his injury.
  9. Bart tips over the bar.
  10. A pretty uneventful and crap 25 mins, then we equalized and we've come to life. Millwall have a free kick now though.
  11. Foul by Guly there, free kick millwall and yellow for Guly I think?

He really is one of the best pundits around. Knows the game well, reads it well, is very honest and fair in his assessments towards us. People having a gripe against him are just being stupid. He was probably being critical about us up until the goal because we were playing ****. It seems to me that people cannot take anyone being critical against Southampton, even if it's fair!
  15. We always sound unplayable once we've scored a goal, the confidence just flows through the side. That's why we always win games when we first take the lead, we're a joy to watch when we're confident like that.
  16. De Ridder and his service letting himself down again there.
  17. Oh wonderful Lallana. That'll do him the world of good! 1-1.! (how small does our crowd sound btw?!?!?!)
  18. To be honest that sort of thing happens everywhere. How many bust ups has Sir Alex had for example?? People will always have disagreements, especially when you're working together in such a high pressured environments 5 days a week.
  19. Absoloutley. All our home momentum that we built up is in danger of being chucked in the bin. Failure to win tonight and we're around 5 weeks since our last home win, pretty suprising seeing as we won 23 odd in a row! Always seems to happen like that though doesn't it....after a long run, it finally ends and then the ''intensity'' drops. Similar happened to Huddersfield, 45 odd games unbeaten, they lost and then lost their next 3 too. Crazy game is football, and it shows how important confidence and momentum is. Losing tonight will do us no favours going into Saturday.
  20. Why couldn't Millwall have turned up like this against WHU...
  21. Sounds like Lee is putting himself about and winning some tackles, good to hear.
  22. Still a bit worrying how many times we're letting teams take the lead at St Mary's these days. Always giving ourselves more to do.
  23. yep, de ridder in the first few mins iirc.
  24. There were always going to be changes, time for these lads to show that they're good enough to be starting.
  25. blimey we sound crap tonight.
