  1. And because it has Europa League crests in it....whoops.

What is actually up with Targett anyway? Has it ever been announced? If he's just had an op, safe to assume it was a bad one and he's still facing a decent length of time out. Why don't the club tell us stuff like this? (unless i've missed, then apologies..)
  3. What happend to Austin by the way? Broken arm/shoulder? Assuming that's him out for a lengthy period. Not that it matters who we have up front if we continue to play like crabs.
  4. **** ball from Romeu, granted, but Hoijberg was half a ****ing sleep. You should always be on your toes, he wasn't.
  5. Boro defend well, they're coached well and organised. We'll have to do a hell of a lot more than we did tonight to get anywhere. They'll have our number from the first minute if we play that slow again. Which we probably will. Not up for this game at all.
  6. He was absolute dire tonight, but to the 'fans' who were against him around me - absolute disgrace, go and find another team to support. Spent the entire match calling for Hapoel players to stamp on him so he's injured, racial gestures and the like. There's no denying he was dross tonight, but our fans take on a whole new level of ****tardness sometimes.
  7. That was incredibly painful to watch, a really lame duck of a performance. Pass, pass, backwards, sideways, slow down, pass, backwards, misplace the ball. repeat for ever. We don't attack teams with any sort of purpose and there were countless times in the game where every single one of our outfield players was outside of the penalty area during one of our dour build ups. It's too slow, too predictable, and it's so so easy to defend against. Just a complete non-performance and another pathetically lame end to a European adventure.
  8. At the end of the day Fonte probably feels he can get one more big pay day. He'll probably go the same way as our other 'defectors' though and vanish into obscurity at Utd, before ending up at Benfica or Sporting in 18 months. There has obviously been some disagreements in the background, the club often go 'silent' on stuff they're not particularly happy with and boy have they gone silent with Fonte.....
  9. How the **** did we manage to lose to Hull, seriously. Worst result we've had for many a year.
  10. I honestly thought we were going to face Palace again, two of the last few left in there.....thank **** we didn't.
  11. They're actually too bad to face us, they were knocked out in the first round. Yep, that's right, the flaming first round of the FA Cup. #Mega
  12. Bit of a fail by Saint-Fred right there.
  13. Yeah, people - please stop quoting him. We all know he's a wum, but we don't need reminding of it when we have him on ignore.
  14. How the hell does Fellani get a chance in that Utd team ahead of Morgan? It's absolutely baffling.
  15. Matip has been the player who has made the biggest difference to them this year, without him they cannot defend. But you've got to attack them with pace and purpose and put them under pressure, something we didn't come close to doing in the home game.
  16. He clearly isn't terrible, he's just on a bad form. But some fans cannot differentiate with poor form and conclusive ability.
  17. That was pretty rubbish, although I'm somewhat not surprised. Everything was lined up for a Palace win today, and added to by the fact that our away form is horrific this year. Not much more worth saying.

This is the worst game I've seen him play for us, hopeless. Needs a long hard look at himself after THAT!
  19. He's having a really bad spell at the moment, not entirely sure why he stayed on.
  20. It's a hard balance. It's easily more audible than it has been since for ever in the Kingsland, but they seem to have more scope to play with the volume levels than they have had before, so we can expect more changes and tweaks as the weeks go on. It's a great tool that we can really use to our benefit to help build pre-match atmosphere's etc, as the pre-match build up to Inter at home was epic. I think the club deserve praise for actually addressing a really poor aspect of the stadium.
  21. His play off the ball (his movement/runs) were excellent, and showed that he has a football brain on his shoulders. It's refreshing to see a manager throw in a young player rather than playing a seasoned pro. I love MP for doing that, and Puel has put Mcqueen and Sims into the limelight this season when they were nowhere near last year. Credit to his management. I was bemused when I read on the BBC site that Koeman didn't know of Sims'. I think it was more a case of that he didn't want to know of him. Everton fans are moaning about him not playing the youth and persisting with the pro's, so we're not alone in that.
  22. Should have easily been more than the 1-0, Everton were lucky. We did what we've all been crying out for us to do from the start. Attack with pace, run and commit players and move the ball quickly in the final third. We have the players to do that and it caused everton all sorts of problems. So many options for MOTM today, but I really enjoyed Hojburgs performance, that is his position. One of the advanced CM's, running with the ball and looking to play the ball forward - he is majestic in that role and it was easily his best game for us. Cedric was awesome and no one was beating him today, VVD and Fonte were as expected. VVD even more imperious than usual. I think Redmond is struggling for confidence/form a bit at the moment, he's over trying things. Great to see Sims give us yet another option as an attacking player, he looks like the sort of player who can play all across the front 3. The moment he beat 3 players in that 2nd half had me stood from my seat. An excellent fearless debut. Big 3 points, big performance, we can now continue to look up.
  23. If we signed a new striker, it would have to be a tall/strong type. Someone who could act as a focal point, as we don't have that option with any of our forwards.
  24. Combination of both. I'd defintley loan him in January down to the NPC. Get his fitness back, get his confidence back and get him believing he can score goals again. I don't think any of us will really know for sure if he's ''gone'' for good until he's given a decent run in a side - and that won't be us.
