Yeah, wouldn't expect him him to come in via Gatwick, and to also spend a 2 hour journey to get to Verona airport - rather than wait for a slightly later flight from Bolonga. Let's be honest, he wouldn't travel on a public commercial flight. He would have some sort of private exec jet lined up, to get him over here to Soton airport ASAP.

He's spat his dummy out and is refusing to train with Bolonga. He is now no longer in their squad for the weekends games. Something is imminent, but who knows what.

Offering him a contract as attractive as ours? His agent will know what we've offered, and what we guarantee him in terms of first team football. I really don't think it's as easy as some are suggesting, this isn't a straight forward deal what with the third party complications - and the fact that he's already agreed terms with us. That in it's self is enough to scare clubs off.

Can't see spurs offering more than us though, what we've offered seems the going rate for him in reality. Levy is a pretty hard negotiator himself, so I can't see him letting them walk all over Spurs with their demands. Probably why the move there didn't materialize in the first place.
