Slots straight in for Jay Rodriguez on the left IMO. But as you said, he can also play right, in behind or as a ST. He's that sort of all covered front 3 type of player, will fit perfectly into the formation we're trying. He's the sort of player you need to make that formation work in the first place.

I am absolutely certain that in one of the many Italian gibberish articles, that I read he has an Italian permit/visa. Now that seems to have been quashed today with the talk that he'll need a permit (that's come via his agent) I'm just going to blame that as being something else lost in translation.

Surprised it's us that's blinked though (if true). I honestly thought it would be Bolonga who'd have been forced to accept what we offered. But this is pretty solid - both of these guys, tancredi and dimazrio have been very sharp on this all the way through.

Didn't the mirror post an article last week about how they source their transfer rumours? It's all from contacts close to the player, agent, club - some planted for whatever reason, but they don't pick it up from football rumours. We've scouted holland heavily over the last 2 years, so can be sure there is probably something in this.

Has an Italian passport afaik.
