I agree with points of what you say, but let's not blindly accept a thrashing here. I'm pretty sure the management and players wouldn't. I also don't quite get the ''we were in L1 a few years ago'' argument. We were, we did well to get back, so now let's make a good fist of staying here. I think the fixtures were unkind, but possibly, if we look at the end of the season we can say they were ''kind'' as our run in is incredibly favorable.

I've now turned it off in disgust. This will probably be 8 or 9. And next week will be hell. The pressure on the Villa game will be absolutely huge. We simply have to win.

Well, we're so slow at the back in all area's - so we need a bit of pace back there. Yosida will give us that.

But is that really a suprise? Arsenal are at a different level to us. We can't compete with them. And it's not televised, it's just 1 of every PL game which is streamed as part of the International feed, which is picked up and edited for organizations around the world. We just need to make sure we do the business in the games we can win. Although, after the last 3 years, seeing us being torn apart like this is painful.

I watched it, I tried not to be biased but he was easily the most comfortable player on the pitch when in possession. There was a moment in the first half I think, where he just glided past players. Not with pace, but with elegance. A very tidy player indeed, who doesn't look like your typical lightweight attacking player either. Puts himself a bit and looks quite strong.

He'd be a good shout actually. Swing it around in the 2nd half. Cleverley off, Carrick on - push Gerrard into Cleverly's position. Milner off, Sterling on. Get Chambo and Sterling getting their boots white and stretch the game, get them to rotate as well as they're quite able to do that. It would give us an injection into our attack and a bit of variation. We're still incredibly predictable. and Milner is a full backs dream, you could sit on an arm chair all game if you were a full back against him, because you know that when he's given the ball he will check back, stop, look, and pass back. Every.Single.Time.
