It's just the first weekend https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/scores-fixtures/2024-08

To be fair our best signings have often been clever deals like Romeu, Livramento, Cork, etc, the bigger money deals tends to see us make expensive mistakes
-
Does the £100M drop in revenue include the parachute payments?
-
And the Premier league obliged giving them the most winnable fixture as a send off. Everton probably actually requested us. (Although we did win there with Nathan Jones as manager)
-
Very quiet on this, thought we'd have announced a few friendlies by now
-
What odds are the bookies offering for Che to score tonight?
-
I think you're spot on, club probably including fans who moved to a new seat in the 4k "new" season tickets. I'm not sure if the ticket office realise for the fans who relocated their original seat is still reserved so there will be loads becoming available on 1st July, odd process they should auto release a reserved season ticket once that person has purchased elsewhere in the ground. Will be interesting when club release match day prices, got a feeling cat A games will be steep to take advantage of the "glory hunting" big 6 fans.
-
You'd have thought we'd need to be one of those teams with a season ticket waiting list
-
He's one of the few players that has a song though, the new Northam wall will need him
-
Remember Stephens never experienced relegation with us, whilst we were a mess at the bottom he was doing quite well on loan at Bournemouth staying up.
-
Thought that was the case, ridiculous thing is those looking to buy in kids zone now looks like nothing available whereas most people in those blocks have moved , seems an inefficient method for doing this, general sale might as well just start on 1st July when true availability shows
-
Yeah there's no way that can be right, would be a huge increase in season tickets, I expect once seats reserved for renewals are released there will be quite a bit more available
-
So few tickets available I think there must be loads of seats held that relate to existing season ticket holders who are moving. Anyone know once you've purchased a new seat is your old reserved season ticket spot auto released? Or will that happen in July once renewal period ends
-
Anyone we want to sign ? https://x.com/SkySportsNews/status/1798679224175190334?t=9O41Te7Twd4JZ5JcsmKqTQ&s=19

He's a genuinely bright bloke as well, did a law degree in his own time, who knows we could see him next in the courts representing our Russ in the case of Swansea v Martin breach of contract
-
He was one of the few real quality players in that era, didn't we have a long period when we only won when Stu Armstrong played? Probably right to move on but shame to see him go.
-
Does seem over complicated. Rule number one in business - make it as easy as possible for a customer to buy from you, the more hoops they have to jump through more likely you'll lose some along the way.
-
He moved to Girona and was excellent, earning a move to Barcelona, be in denial as much as you want we could have done with Romeu last two seasons.
-
But can we be sure it won't be another Alderweireld?
-
Depends really, squad limit of 25 isn't it, if he's not going to be playing no point using up a place, up to him to prove fitness in July / early August
-
I'd go as far as saying outside shout for a European place 👍
-
I don't like wishing hardship on others but karma would say Everton going into administration and -15 point deduction would be fair after bribing Hans Segers and would help us, fingers crossed
-
Not from Wembley but this video definitely worth a watch from the WBA play off, used pre match then added to, was excellent as part of the build up https://x.com/alextwelch7/status/1791905401190948965?t=oc0aucxqaSdW8JOPd7c8qA&s=19
