I was thinking this on Tuesday night whilst KD was warming up it looked like he injured himself, he was on the ground for a few mins, got checked out by the trainers then went of but was obviously ok.

Its not 4 hours we leave at 9.13 arriving at 11.33 plus there are delays on the Southampton/Clapham route of 40 minutes.

Got group save from Soton to East Croydon and then East Croydon to Thornton Heath via Barnham for less than £10 each which is a good deal, more money to spend in the pub. We went to the station and got our tickets but it did also give me the option on Wednesday night of booking these online.

Cheap train tickets available on a 4 for 2 basis works out from Southampton to Thornton Heath under a tenner each.

There was definitely more than 600 there, it was a good drive up and arrived home at 2.00 this morning which wasnt too bad either. It was a lovely day in Hull yesterday made all the better by the good result, thought we were quite lucky with the second, to me it was a definite handball by Jose before Jos put it away. Had a trip to the old Boothferry Park (quite by accident) but suprprised to see still some of the old signage around the site.

I was there and a close call between Morgan and Jos so they should share it, can I present the bottle of champers to Morgan please.

Think Cardiff play Leeds that weekend as well currently its a 1230 ko but surely that is the one more likely to be televised at 2000 hours on the Monday night, isnt it, well I hope so I have booked 18 of us in b and b for the night and paid the deposit so will be very angry if it is changed now.

We have also debated the whereabouts of that pub and no one can remember it, maybe someone on here will be interested to find out where it was.

Both pubs still surviving at the moment.

Agree with post above and love to see him nominated for player of the season too but that's sewn up by Lambert or Lallana, be good if someone could come up with a chant or song for Morgan too.

My first away match was I think circa 1965/6 away to Newcastle, remember lying to my parents that I was staying round a friend's house and got on a coach at the Dell and went to Newcastle instead, and have had the bug ever since. I really dont know what I would do without Saints in my life.

I have 2 spares a couple of friends now can't make this game and it is now such a hassle to take tickets back.

This is the one that jumps out at me, David Hirst scored if I remember correctly. I also travelled up with a Scouser and as you say he certainly remained quiet on the way back after being gobby and confident on the way up.

Present squad is very good but to me 83/84 was still the best and exciting, I love watching us now but there is still something missing, not that I am moaning but the 83/84 had that something extra.

But they would have purchased their tickets for a Saturday game originally, still good going though wasnt impressed with their fans when we played them recently.

Thats great we could have matched that if it was on a Saturday dont you think.
