Simon Gillett is our new Alan Ball.

It was good to see him come across at the end of the game and thank the fans as did the team, all did well today and hope we can continue playing like this.

and I just cant stop talking about our performance today, the lads were absolutely terrific, some of the passing was mesmerising and Gillett, Lallana, Holmes were all 10 out of 10. I just cant stop thinking about the game, the result was important but it was the way we played, I dont think Derby were in the match in the last 20 minutes. Did I mention that we were outstanding today, reminded me of our team in the 80's.

been reading a lot of here lately and it seems after only two games of the season that the majority on here are not thinking of aiming for promotion but survival or at the best mid table mediocracy. Am I the only one who still hopes for promotion, I cant go through this season just hoping for a mid table finish.

Navigation is the pub, (on the London Road) it is past the ground about a 10 - 15 minute walk but normally plenty of parking around that area.

Beach Volley ball and that open swimming event this morning we got silver and bronze but the girls did well.

They should give you a free ticket as a sign of goodwill, if they advertised it was open and it wasnt then its the least they can do, its only £8 a ticket anyway so hardly likely to break the bank.

we desperately need a point or three and though only two games in to the season do we need to bring in some of the more experienced players i.e. Thomas, Skacel, Ewell, BWP, Wotton, Dyer.

This is really making depressing reading, normally the ressies gave us some hope but that seems to be disappearing fast.

LOL its been a while since Ihave taken it that far, but I think most the guys I know through football, now that I have been there year in and year out through the good and bad times and respect my loyalty and hopefully knowledge.

and another thing females should never change the lyrics of football songs to suit them i.e. singing Southampton girls etc

you know the ones, they are always running down the players, think they can do a better job than the manager, dont even know the position or the names of the players and cant even get their their shirts over their beer guts.
