Think it will be another tight game similar to Elland Road game. Saints have better players in the team now and hopefully will be able to provide our strikers with plenty of chances, something we didn't do at Leeds with Connolly and Lambert were starved of decent balls to them and were kept quiet by Naylor and Kinsboro that day. 2-1 to Saints.

Not sure why but Snodgrass has been on the bench recently for Leeds. Maybe he's been injured? but i thought he was Leeds best player when we played at Elland Road before christmas. Leeds fans at work don't know why either.

This could have a knock on effect for england as Fergie will play Rooney in more games this season than necessary and could result in him geting injured before the world cup.

just to rub it in Moore had dived at least twice in the area and not got booked and then scored from the dodgy late pen. Hopefully this ref will not ref another game again.

He created more chances than any other midfield player. Only recall one missed chance when he tried to side foot a cross in. Not a reason to want him dropped IMO he's one of our best players.

He played well today and looked one of our most dangerous attacking players.

As usual this thread has been spoilt by the usual suspects who were not at the game. Saints should have won this game easily and dominated large periods of the game without having an luck in front of goal. I thought Barnard played well and looked our most dangerous forward and found it strange he was subbed. Lallana also played well but Puncheon had an off day. The ref!!! not sure how to describe him? i've seen some poor refs in this league but this was he worst ever i've seen. He awarded a soft free kick for their 1st goal, missed a blatent push on Barnard right in front of him, allowed ther keeper to pick up a pass back in the 2nd half, and you just knew he would top it off with a lte dodgy penalty for the home team. I expected him to send a Saints player off as well as it was the only thing he orgotten to do against Saints. I'm not sure anyone can be that bad so can only prsunme he is a cheat. Had an interesting pub crawl around Rock Ferry before the game which will stay in my memory for a while.
