  1. Decisions he's made in the last couple of years suggests to me he is making decisions based on what's best for him, rather than the club. Subservient manager's and Ross Wilson being examples of this. His son's agency business is seemingly a whole can of worms. For me, he has to go. Get Christian Purslow in as Chief Exec to run the club.
  2. Can't say I'll lose too much sleep over it. What sad lives some people lead. He needs to get laid by something he doesn't have to inflate first.
  3. Absolute bull. Probably put out there by Sky to start getting some action on their book on it.
  4. Hopefully the weirdo trolls don't ruin this forum like they have with The Ugly Inside. They really are sad people.
  5. The manager has to be the prime driver, otherwise you have a subs bench of £15m players who he doesn't rate. A decent DOF has the checks and balances role. I'd like us to go back to more actual scouting, rather than watching videos and having an advance preview of the Football Manager database.
  6. If true, it suggests that Les Reed is pulling in his own direction rather than the club's. I reckon the last few windows, his choice of managers and his son's agency have fatally wounded him. That and Hughes seeing right through him, and seemingly sidelining him. If Les stays, I can't see his influence spreading beyond the lines mown on the pitch.
  7. Is the only budget for signing players, from what we sell? Surely not.
  8. Some people still call it The Dell!
  9. Les is definitely going to take a back seat with Hughes as manager. I don’t think he’ll have much to do with the first team.
  10. He wouldn't have full control if he reported to a Chief Exec.
  11. Les Reed may have a few certificates, but know way is he a better choice than Trevor Brooking.
  12. Maybe the problem was Stoke's DOF.
  13. Don't agree. At times when City were putting the pressure on we did have 2 defensive lines. But it looked like the defensive line was high up the pitch for a fair part of the game.
  14. Hopefully, Reed’s thoughts will be irrelevant.
  15. Thought it was offside. Quite why Stephens was so far up the pitch i’ll never know. Hoedt was excellent. We were the better side.
  16. None of it seems down to luck, just rank bad referees. It is incredulous that the richest league in the world is officiated by such incompetent half-wits. Michael Oliver is about the only competent one we have.
  17. Just stick with the home kit we have. Would like the away one to be a similar design in yellow and blue.
  18. When it comes to crosses, he is the best I've ever seen.
  19. Something wrong when the Board are swayed by the thoughts of an ex ice hockey coach. It's Woodwardesque. We really should get rid of the lot of them.
  20. I hope Loftus-Cheek doesn't get in the England squad. His performance today has been woeful.
  21. Mate of mine is an Everton season-ticket holder. He says outside of playing the top 6, they are really solid at home. He doesn't think we'll get anything. I'm fearing a really flat performance after the heroics of last week. But, to be honest, Everton aren't exactly Barcelona.
  22. I still want them to lose.
  23. Whooosh
