Les has got a lot of things right. Personally, I thought the Lemina and Hoedt buys represented good business for Saints in the Summer. He he is making an absolute pigs ear of everything at the moment though. He still has time to turn things around, but we're talking days, not weeks.

I should have read this thread before starting a thread on Christian Purslow. Would fill the Cortese role perfectly, but probably out of our league.

Just watching him now on 'The Debate', a Sky programme presented by David Prutton. Very impressed by what he says about running a football club. Talks about selling players but making sure you reinvest to make your side better. Says Liverpool are doing it, but Arsenal haven't over the years. For a money man he seems more focuses on the ethos of a club and improving things on the field, rather than the balance sheet (which he is responsible for so won't lose control). Probably out of our league, but would be a great MD down here.

Club should buy him a new one.
