Read what I posted. I said he wasn't world class. I didn't say he was sh*te. One decent centre-half isn't going to make a huge difference to Liverpool.

We all thought the same when Liverpool signed Lovren. He turned out to be poor. Personally, I don't think VVD is world class. He won't make a massive difference to them.

We need less ex-PE teachers and more ex-footballers involved in the Academy set-up. Coaching badges are all well and good, but I would rather have experienced players with badges than experienced teachers.

There's a list as long as your arm. Wilshere is good in tight spaces and see's a pass. He also likes to move forward with the ball. That rules him out at Saints. Pellegrino does like a sideways/backwards pass.

Wilshere is a great player going forward.

Just putting out who is available. There aren't many managers out there who haven't been sacked. Moyes and Hodgson are doing well at the moment. Both have monumental failures on their CVs. Bilic's record is pretty good. Admittedly, he wouldn't be right at the top of my list, but he is available.

He has to go as soon as the club sort his replacement out. Hopefully, they're doing work behind the scenes now. The longer we keep MP, the longer we'll be in a relegation scrap. I would welcome Koeman back. Bielsa is available now after failing in France. Bilic is refreshed after being fried at West Ham.

Bu that reasoning, Leicester would still have Ranieri/Shakespeare as their manager and a very different squad. Our squad is good enough. The relationship between players and management seems to be a problem though. A lost dressing room never ends well.
