I'd think the fact that they were turned down by both Rangers and Bournemouth meant that whilst there "appears" to be a massive list of clubs waiting to be purchased, the only one that both fit (I.e they could afford) and would actually go for it left them with but one option. That's what it USED to be whilst they were in Administration. Now they are owned by the Ruskies it's no longer the case. If they want to pay someoen £100kpw they can (they won't of course).. the CVA is on track (it has to be paid back by a certain date)... what happens now is anyone's guess....

Wasn't all of that based on running without any external investment (I.e no Ruskies).. now the Ruskies have turned up they can put money in to offset the losses, as a low interest loan of course....

So my son has just joined the school football club, he's 5 1/2... where's the best place to get some kit? Will he need proper boots or studs??? I've not played since I was at school so I don't have a clue!

Corp. Re parachute payments They are split into 4 payments, 2 X 16m and 2 X 8m. The first 16m was paid in advance in March 2009 directly to football creditors.(this allowed you to complete the season) The second again was paid in July of 2010 the same year directly to football creditors. The third was paid in July this year and again it mostly went to football creditors directly from the Fa. You've got one left... Guess where that's going???
