Sorry for dumping this on the the end of this thread, I can't create my own topics....
Anyway, yesterday, I went to Millwall vs Leyton Orient... I was working up in the city and finsihed early and a chap I work with suggested we pop along to watch his mighty 'wall play. Not having anything else to do I duly accepted.. "why not?" I thought, "it might be a luagh!"
Life next season will be far worse than you can possibly imagine.
Things that I learned
1: No one goes to watch a match. Especially away fans. Expect 250 tops to turn out from the away fans.
2: Rascicm seems to be perfectly acceptable. I don't think i've ever been in a ground (recently) where someone shouts out "fCK OFF YOU **** CNTS" and everyone around me laughs....
3: I love to use the word cnt. It's a great word. I've never heard it shouted so many times by so many people for so many reasons.
4: The football will be crap. It will be very very direct. It will be very very ugly. Any fancy dan kids are going to get hospitalised after 30 seconds.
5: We will need to splash some cash (that we don't have) to get out of the division as the current team will get steamrollered by the sheer physicality of the game.
6: Life may not be worth living.
Ho hum.......
