But pompey have had to take a loan out to pay their staff. This is NOT normal business practice. If they simply don't have the cash to pay the staff and have had to take out a loan 3 months on a row it just can't continue... there willc ome a point when the amount being paid back in loans exceeds the amoutn coming in each month (Some woudl say this has already happened)... Of course, it won't come to that, because as soon as the transfer window shuts and anything saleable has gone pompey will be liquidated...

It's bound to be that £35m standard bank loan they paid off in the summer.. he makes no direct mention of the current owners having paid off any debt just "the club" which includes no time frame or anything.....

as Far as I know, the actual land the stadium is built on is woned by the council and has some pretty restrictive covenants.. such as you can't build on it unless you relocate the stadium.. Mind you, I woudl guess there's a claus in there that states these conditions only stand IF the football club still exists....

Oh what a suprise.. I said earlier that that fluff piece in the Guardian was the usual spiel we get when there are problems.... lowe (spit) and behold... the Tax man pulls the rug from under them... They are proper fcked... the fact they had an agreed timetable in place to pay back what the owed (a second chance) with the Tax man and fcked it up means HMRC are going for the jugular....

Oh look... just like the last time the PVA were going to kick off... strange that the club remains silent for so long, as soon as theres a whiff of a protest we get a little fluff piece up saying "trust us! things will be ok" and they chuck them a couple of crumbs that they hope will placate the fans hunger... Problem is, I don't think (rightly so) the blue few are going to fall for that one again.... I predict "issues" tonight

Personally, I think the best protest would be to hit them where it hurts.. the pocket. These guys are after their cash.. so for one game, dpm't give it to them. Boycot the game and stand outside or something.
