I suspect if he has a serious head injury he will not be concious as someone comment. He is probably under heavy sedation and may have an endotracheal tube inserted to aid his breathing. As some one said he is concious, I find this strange given the reports of the serious of his injuries. its i more likely he is responding to some form painful stimuli and his nursing team will be using the Glasgow Coma scale to assess his levelof head injury. Also was it suggested previously he had a craniotomy or some skull burrs to help relieve blood pressure and clots?
