  1. HA Ha Seems the fad is catching . On local news this morning up here . The Kirkwall pool has been closed because someone soiled the water . It's been closed since yesterday while staff decontaminate the pool . Dirty bastard
  2. One aspect that appears to be a common theme up here is anyone but Cameron , they want Cameron out of Westminster . Hence salmond constantly saying labour are in bed with Cameron
  3. Any serious financial bods on here ? Should I close my RBS accounts and investments etc and move to an English bank ?
  4. Oh don't forget the huge NHS black hole salmond has created by giving free prescriptions for everyone up here One of the biggest debtors in banking is the Royal bank of Scotland. If Finney is saying they will not pay any debt re the pound . Then we should ask salmond and the SNP to pay back all the UK bail out money we gave to The RBS to save them from going under
  5. Pooch is playing hard ball with us because we are refusing to sell Morgan to our fantastic ex manager . Pooch did so much for us . We owe him so much .!
  6. Thanks for your report ping wing
  7. Thanks for those who were at the game posting their comments . I know we have some bad performances but some on here take great pleasure with their constant anti player, manager etc comments . I don't mind differing opinions but at least get behind the team/ manager no matter how bad we are playing . If we had van gaal as our manager We would have a lynch mob out there tonight looking for him. I'm really excited we have RK as our manager . The team will need time to adjust to the new format but we will be a force to reckon with in my humble opinion
  8. Ah Fiona Richmond does she make the 70's totty thread in the lounge . Is she still with Christopher peacock
  9. Sorry mr fudpacker . I used an orcadian / Scottish word that you did not understand Yerself . Means " You" The point of post is that if someone posts something you always appear to want to say the opposite or disagree with the other posters comments. Even when they are making the same points you so elequently make
  10. Hey Sydney Hmmm, I've just had a text to say he'll be gone by the time the transfer window closes, something I'm not happy about at all. Letting Cork go would be a huge mistake. I have had a text to say you have **** yerself But then I expect you will say you have had a text to say you have wet the bed but that it will not happen till next week once the transfer window has closed .
  11. Someone was using one in the row in front of me on Saturday Public authorities are banning them as well from public buildings schools etc One if the views are that it actual encourages people and children to smoke . I think the jury is out on that
  12. Saint Richmond , We know were you stand re saints and the board As you don't like the club go and support a London team or if your living in Richmond in Yorkshire go and support Leeds or Sheffield .
  13. You don't speak for me wade . Ps I don't want towsend at the club fir three reasons . I don't want any spuds players -and secondly if he no good for them then he is no good for us , finally I don't want any if pooches cast offs
  14. From my view in the itchen . I thought Morgan gave 100% plus . I didn't notice him shirk one tackle . In the second half there was one defensive tackle he made where a corner ensued . I thought good old Morgan getting stuck in. So for me Morgan has found his head again
  15. Removed as this post annoyed and offended at least one fellow poster
  16. Hi Weston, I hung about for a 5 minutes assuming you were out for a pint or a pie , so didn't get to say hello to you all I heard the odd sarcastic cheer , but not booing , The ref was too quick on his whistle and didn't allow the game to flow , that added to a dire game as well . As for the ten yards pacing . I watched him and some times he took short steps and some times long steps . I'm not convinced the ten yards rule is accurate . As all the refs have different and inconsistent leg strides . . They need an accurate gadget to measure it out correctly .
  17. Norm When and which area of the pitch did the booing occur ?
  18. Duncan , I didn't hear anyone booing pelle . Their number 15 was being booed , but not our players . And I was wearing my hearing aids . And I was sat in the next block along from you . I did come to say hi to derry and Weston at half time I agree he was somewhat sluggish at times but he will come good for us .
  19. Wrong thread
  20. The ref was a very fussy ref today and there number 15 should have been booked for simulation . He went down and that stopped a very threatening attack by us . I belive he went down as he couldn't get back in time to defend in time .
  21. That was mega warm in the stadium . As for the game , we do need some more attacking options . We need to get in their box and put their defenders under intense pressure I don't know if it was the heat today but we did not play high intensity football in the final third . Early days but we did sit back a bit in the last 15 minutes or so.
  22. In the guide dog having a pre match pint or two . Anyone else in here ? I'm looking forward to the game

Kelvins glove Just to correct you and to advise one size does not fit all , My late nephews did not have a mental illness . They just had a taste for alcohol , it was their drug nothing more and nothing less , Mental illness hits lots of people, and in many cases it is an invisible illness . unless you know the person . I met up last week end with some former army medic colleagues . One was bipolar . What a great guy and a long standing saints fan. There was a thread the other week about mental illness and you would be suprised how many of us on here are affected by mental illness . ! There is help out there re alcoholism and I don't know if it's the same down here but in Scotland the onus is for the invidual to seek help before treatment can begin . It's about time that was changed and the NHS and co took the lead in treating people straight away instead of the opposite . Part of my job deals with such matters, you know someone has a problem with alcohol and when you ask the pros to see the individual , they will not unless they personally ask for help , many individuals say they do not drink or have not had a drink for several weeks . They are lying to themselves , their carers and GP's etc I'm not being moralistic and certainly not trying to be . My belief is that the support services need to be more proactive and taken action as soon as someone falls of the wagon , instead of intervening when it is too late. It is a sad state of affairs , was there any support for Gaza who hen he first hit the bottle again . He might have been treated for mental illness but was there any immediate intervention for stopping his drinking ?? Was he on long term detox medication ?

Kingdom I agree . It's the people around him that need the support .. It's seriously messes the family and friends up . I know I lost twin nephews in a space of a year to alcohol abuse . No matter what support the family and I gave , they just did not want to know. One discharged himself from hospital and straight to the local pub . He was dead within 24 hours They were not as lucky as Gasgoine with all the professional support he or his friends have paud for . Yes it's sad but had a choice as did my twin nephews . They refused it for what ever reason

Ex lion tamer . I was previously supportive of him , but he has been through that many privately run detox programmes . More than the every day person has access to. Therefore he should have firmly grasped the hand of support he has been offered but hasn't taken it , I'm not sure what his mental health problems are exactly but I suspect he has ignored some of that support . I also believe the media were wrong to shove his latest pictures on the front pages It's very sad to see someone in that state but his recovery is very much dependent on himself I know what alcoholism does to folk as I have mentioned in posts last year on this subject re two nephews who died from alcoholism at a young age .
