Kraken as you stay in a court previous history in admissible as evidence . How ever the PGMol have not acted in the spirit of legal concept of a fair trial where there are two sides to a story instead they have adopted the kangaroo court mentality . I agree something more serious has been said or implied . The club would not be proceeding with this matter if it is such a trivial matter .
-
Barry we do not know what was said between the two . Either on the pitch or end the end if the match or in the tunnel . I don't think swearing is the issue here . It's just a gut feeling which I cannot substantiate as I was in Orkney watching the match . I suspect clattenberg said something untoward more than what is in the press . It could be construed as bullying . Remember in terms of bullying and harassment look at the ACAS site . It's what the the recipient perceives to be said that is the point in question . My guess is There was something more serious that was said or implied hence the reason the club are continuing with the matter . Kilbane Keown linniker do not have all the facts and are only based there comments on what is being said in the media .

FFS Barry what us it you don't understand . The should be warned initially and depending on the reason they swore then the should be booked or sent off our players included . It is not a clear black and white scenario but it should be dearth with accordingly . Should I receive another infraction just because I'm frustrated with your posts and use "FFS" it's done in the heat of the moment . A lot of the players only know street language I'm sure the better educated players also swear but use other words such a bloody hell ref to express their frustration . A booking or sending off should be dealt with in the context it is said . If it is malicious then a straight red saints player or not . I remember playing hockey for Bracknell I got blown up for offside . I said to the umpire are you bloody blind there are two players and a gk in front if me . I initially got a yellow card . 5 minutes behind the goal . I didn't use the f word or say anything else . Just went off the pitch . One if their players said to the ref I should get a straight red . I was called back and sure enough I got a red card . I was livid and had a few words with the umpire along with the club captain not once did we swear . Anyway the club made a report to the hockey umpires assn and the appeal was upheld and I didn't have to serve a 3 match ban . So it's not just football you get bad match officials

Barry . There are a lot if players who swear at match officials they should be booked I agree with that . There are some stars such as Rooney who get away with almost everything . He's a very dirty player and a good player . But he seems to get protection from most referees . The refs do themselves no favours when they suck up to all the major world stars. There's one rethink having a bit of banter with players that's good for the game however with some refs it's more than banter and they are compromising their role in the face of us fans . How many times has a players committed a nasty foul . The free kick is given and then the referee has a laugh and joke with the offender . It happened in the Chelsea game . In these situations the referee should not laugh and joke with offenders when a foul has been committed unless they are booking the player . They do themselves no favours . If they are not booking or warning the player they should just walk away and allow the free kick to be taken not have a laugh with them . In sends out the wrong messages to some of the overpriced players with the top clubs

If clattenberg had admitted he genuinely got the penalty calls wrong and likewise the previous decisions he has given against us and the likes of Everton then he might get a bit of respect but he didn't . Which just goes to show hi is so much up his own backside I am worrying about today's game and I wouldn't be surprised to see some dodgy decisions go against us . Burnley may well be given a questionable penalty or two against us . The referee organisation will close ranks and we will see more and more decisions given against us .

Barry I agree I was taking a personal slant re Riley in my last post . However I started off trying to be objective about the matter . You me and the world do not know exactly what was said between the clattenberg and Adam . The matter is far wider than just saints . Rogders will be found guilty over his comments re the match officials the other day. The PGMol will support their man . As for Riley . When I spoke to him I did not rant and rave . But he had no time for the everyday fan and was rather rude I remember when we were at the dell in the supporters club . The odd match official would come into the club and have a beer and a chant with the fans . They were human and not full of themselves like the Riley's and clattenbergs of today

I find this part of the emirates blogg most interesting . It his the nail on the head about this secretive Pgomol set up But there is more to it that this – the whole secretive way in which PGMOL work, the way it refuses to answer questions, the way it fails to inform the public of its actions through a web site, the way it puts out statistics which appear crazy and then fails to give any evidence as to how it obtained them, the way it rules itself allowing no independent outsiders to judge it… all this and more is what is wrong with the very heart and soul of English Premier League football. Thank goodness someone has at last stood up and said, no, this is not right. What you and I don't know is what was actual said at the match between the two off them the crowd were very noisy it's not as if the crowd were made up of two men and a dog. It was a full stadium I have never liked clattenberg he is an arrogant and so far up his own arse **** . Who is protectected by his own gang of like arseholes including another referee I couldn't stand mike Riley . Another tosser who thought he was greater than the players and the fans . Some refs do not give you the time off day when you try to speak to them after the match even when you try to engage them in polite conversation . Riley was such an individual
-
Pastor patron do you support the saints or are you a fan of the blue few . . You don't ever seem to say anything positive about the club or players . Lighten up and get behind the team and players . We don't know the facts about the dani fracas . The Newcastle bloke seems to have got off lightly . He had kicked off on the pitch where as the dani incident occurred in the tunnel according to folk on this forum . Me I don't have a clue on what actually happened . I do suspect the severity is due to some form of fallout from the Adam situation

I have read all the posts and there are two distinct camps on this thread . I think there is something more serious involved hence the club are persuing the issue . The nav man is hinting at something more serious as has Weston . There has been no independent hearing of what ever happened no witnesses called etc etc just an old secretive boys club looking after their pals . It's like a policemen booking you for speeding and thet get there mates to hear your case . You don't stand a chance . Like MPs coppers referees close ranks and support each other . It will be interesting to see what happens to Rogers following his outburst now he has be charged re his comments by the same group who support ****tenberg . Oh it's the Liverpool manager . He will only get a slap on the wrists .
-
I cannot believe some of the comments being said on here by some supporters of the club . There wasn't a fair hearing . No independent adjudication of the evidence. Just swept under the carpet at the behest of the football referees secret masons lodge . I wonder how much of. An impact this had on the 3 match ban and heavy fine on. Dani O How much did Mark Hughes get fined Oh and a final comment to stevegrant . Can you not you use a more appropriate comment than pansies . What era were you born in . That sort of terminology has long be forgotten and should not be used

Well in that case Tokyo .it went completely over my head . Now I realise a ps take was going on

So the following in the news . I have always wondered how quickly mortally injured footballers seem to recover immediately they get to the touch line . I saw a Chelsea player hardly touched against us and I've went down as he had been hit by a HGV. Do they get some miracle jack Bauer jab that brings them back to live or just a bunch of con merchants . I agree with Blatters comments - what do other forum members think ? Fifa president Sepp Blatter has proposed the use of a time penalty as a deterrent to diving in football. Blatter feels players who get treatment but are not badly injured should have to wait longer before rejoining play. "I find it deeply irritating, when the half-dead player comes back to life as soon as they have left the pitch," said "The referee can make the player wait until the numerical disadvantage has had an effect on the game." Blatter, the head of world football's governing body, added: "In practical terms, this is a time penalty and it could cause play-actors to rethink. "The touchline appears to have acquired powers of revival which even leading medical specialists cannot explain."

Why install a new sprinkler system . Why not redirect the leaky roof water onto the pitch . It will help save money

All the years I have supported saints and that spans 5 decades I have believed that certain refs deliberately favour certain teams . In recent years I have been more and more convinced . The fergusons , wingers et al always seem to get listened to but rarely clubs like saints are listened to. Hopefully the powers to be will start to listened . Is there a degree of corruption within the refereeing hierarchy . I don't know . I hope not but when you see the bigger clubs getting more favourable decisions that clubs like us then as fans you start to consider that this may well be present . If we had continental referees appointed would this stop the antics of certain premiership referees from giving the wrong decisions . What we need is the likes of Clive Thomas . Referees are part of the game they should not see themselves as being bigger than the game which some clearly do .
