  1. I've said this before, but if roy keane is appointed at Southampton FC in any capacity I will support another club until he leaves. I honestly couldn't bear that.
  2. That is brilliant, consider it stolen.
  3. Ahem.
  4. It's far more likely now. Why do you think Germany was so keen to keep the Greeks on board the eurozone boat at any cost? Once one country exits the euro and defaults, they'll be queuing up to get out.
  5. No proper bloke stops to ask for directions. Have a word with yourself pal.
  6. It's been five hours, and the disastrous implications are only just beginning to sink in. We won't be able to enter the Eurovision Song Contest any more.
  7. My wife woke me up this morning and said "That's it. We're out of Europe." I can't believe it. Didn't even know we were playing.
  8. We could argue this all day, but we aren't a big enough economy to overwhelm the global economy. Black Wednesday was a turning point for the uk, we coped then and we'll cope now.
  9. The global economy was slowing when blair tried to drag us into the eurozone so he could sit at the big table. I'm quite glad that brown managed to keep us out of it.
  10. Remember when major finally decided to get out of the erm? That was supposed to be economic suicide. Actually it was the moment that the uk economy started to recover. And remember the scare stories about the unbelievably dire consequences if we didn't adopt the euro? We managed to survive that, but the greeks and spanish aren't in great shape are they.
  11. F*cking hell!! I didn't see that coming. Looks done and dusted now.
  12. To be fair, wasn't he already on quite a long deal already when he snapped his acl? I'd guess that from the clubs point of view it might have been viewed as damage limitation in the hope that he'd do a walcott and bounce back.
  13. You're not alone. I really hope that j-rod can get back to being a pl striker, he's a genuinely decent bloke and deserves another shot at it, but it doesn't look likely to me. As for charlie austin, I was over the moon when we signed him, and even more so when he nodded in that header on his debut. But he's hardly seen any game time since then, you've got to wonder how that's going to work out.
  14. I'd agree with that. I'd add that there may be a clue in the username of jack schitt.

    Euro 2016

Oh, the sheer delight of seeing ronaldos reaction when that third one just went in. Still think that portugal will probably nick it.
  16. If he joined us, I bet that would take a dive.
  17. I haven't noticed it being any worse than usual, but I don't bother with the tapatalk thing on my phone. I've seen posters on other sites mention problems with that.
  18. To be honest, it's the least of my worries already.
  19. Plus, European employment law may cease to apply here. That could pose a distinct problem for a european manager. Let's not forget either that new anti-immigration rules might prevent him from entering the uk at all. He'd have to do the training by phone, this is a disaster waiting to happen.
  20. Maybe the potential candidate is waiting to see the referendum outcome before committing himself. We might even have to join the eurozone as well.
  21. That would be the same FTSE that dropped like a stone when we finally left the exchange rate mechanism.
  22. ....and his assistant, jean paul gaultier.
  23. Everyone did. I think that may have been part of why he got replaced. Fwiw, I was gutted when he went.
  24. That's a good point. Is he still available?
