A big part of the negative reaction to pochettino was the club sacking nigel after back to back promotions. I've got to include myself in that reaction.
-
Leave it to the board. They haven't been too shabby over the last few seasons.

This. Unless it's roy keane.

Never underestimate the tabloids.

"I'm glad Cliff Richard has been cleared," said my wife. "You always remind me of him." "Really?" I asked. "Yes," she replied. "You're shortsighted and nearly dead." Can you tell, I'm killing time before my 2:30 job.
-
Apropos of nothing at all, whenever my secretary talked about cliff richard she started dripping like a broken tap. She also said I look a lot like him. So how come I never got to sh*g her? Wimmin, I'll never understand them.

I don't think it will work, which is why I don't want us to be part of it. But I reckon that Germany will press ahead with it with or without us.

I agree with your general sentiments, and I'll be voting leave. But even if we do, which we almost certainly won't, that wouldn't affect the move towards a federal europe, it would only mean that we wouldn't be a part of it.

That's exactly what I thought. He moved to the south to be near his wifes family, didn't he? Why would he want to head back north? Let's face it, he can't be struggling by on the pittance we're paying him, he's a regular starter for his national team, and he'd be moving to a club who finished below us and don't have european football next season. I'd be very surprised if this happens.

Strikes me that way too. No denials, nothing except apologies. Quite apart from the damage to the victims, which is appalling, you've got to feel a little bit sorry for his own family as well. On the plus side, at least they'll have to stop broadcasting those repeats of Just a Minute.
-
Dear God, when is this going to end? Was it compulsory back then? His family don't seem to be denying it.
-
Yes. It will definitely be somebody.

...and you're never alone with a Strand.

My favourite sex position is the JFK. I splatter all over her while she screams and tries to get out of the car.
-
"I love your new silk underwear," I whispered to my girlfriend. "It's incredibly sexy." "So I see," she replied. "Now take it off, you look f*cking ridiculous."
-
True, but I can't think of anyone else who stayed at the club through thick and thin despite offers of massively higher wages elsewhere. And had to be managed by ian branfoot.

MLT was a bit of a one off. His family were already pretty wealthy, so in his own words he played for the love of the game. Plus he didn't want to move away from the airport, regular trips back to Guernsey were a doddle from here. Blackburn would have paid him far more than spurs the year they bought the title, and offered him a daily helicopter to and from Ewood, but he still turned them down. It's hard to see that set of circumstances reoccurring these days.
-
Yes, but it would also mean I'd have to pay more for a beer in spanish bars. Let's get some perspective here.

Brilliant free kick. But it wasn't a free kick, forward ran into the defender. Awful refereeing.

One of many reasons why I detest roy keane. I don't give a flying f*ck about man utd, I wish them nothing but harm, but the way that c*nt held them to ransom made me vomit. And the heroes welcome he got from their "fans" after he finally signed that contract was equally sickening.

Ronald Koeman breaks silence, sends tweet...and the response isn't pretty
scotty replied to Maggie May's topic in The Saints
Out of interest, is everybody absolutely certain that Koeman walked out on us? We sacked pards, we sacked nigel, poch definitely left. Am I the only one who thinks this might have been a board decision, with the thinking being that a different manager could take us to the next level of CL and they already had prospects in mind? As people keep pointing out, ron repeatedly stated that he would honour his contract. Maybe he was prepared to do that? -

Steven fry uses it. That's all I need to know. -

I would dispute that. Twitter is entirely pointless.
