Very uninspiring so far. Been trying to watch streaming link and pretty much failing. Anyone have any ideas for the second half as it must be better than first surely, so there might be a shot to watch.

I don't think he's as good as he or other people thought a few years ago. Nowhere near skillful enough to compensate for the lack of fitness and speed.

I really wish JP wouldn't keep playing McGoldrick up front. He's not good as the lone striker with his back to goal. Having said that he'll probably score 3 now - hope so.

Why are so many people putting McGoldrick in the striker's role? He almost never plays well there, but seems to profit more from being in the hole so he can run at the defence as we saw second half in the last game. The trouble is who to play there as I agree BWP only does well when coming on as a sub. Peterson maybe? I'd be tempted to stick with Gobern on the left, but feel Lallana will bring more quality to the team than Thomson, so I would bring him back in. I really never saw that coming. I didn't think the players had it in them. I don't know what happened 2nd half today, but it was f**king fantastic and I want more of it!!! Off to buy alcohol for urgent celebration.

I don't believe it. I never expected that at all. Good job Euell wasn't playing or Gobern wouldn't have been on the bench. He seems to have made a difference.

Goal from a corner! Don't get many of them. Can't see us scoring again and keeping them out. Only 1 goal in it for now, though, which is better than it has been for most of the last month.

I really can't see us getting anything out of this. From the illness and injuries the already weak defence is creaking even more. No experience there unless Wotton plays, but JP doesn't seem to fancy him as a CB much. Hope Rudi's fit or we are stuffed for LB. I'll be amazed if we score and just hope we keep the number of goals conceded to something respectable.

Totally agree. I'd be embarrassed to sign a petition as badly written as that. Create one that makes properly argued points and doesn't use offensive language and I'll happily come on board, but if we want our views to be taken seriously they have to be expressed correctly.

We're not going to catch anyone above us. We can only hope those below us lose too. How sad is that?

I don't want to slag off the young players, but I'm just fed up of sub-standard performances by Saints and not even feeling we have a chance of winning every match in this poxy league. Confidence is at an all time low and I can't see anything being done to address the situation on the pitch. We are just getting rid of all the players of any proven quality and heading for the league below.

Well done lads. Hard fought win by the sounds of it. Perhaps we should stick with 4-4-2 then?
