  1. Worth having in the squad for his character and spirit. Yes, he was solid against a non-existent attack on Saturday, but I would worry about him and Perry against pacy skillfull strikers with decent movement.
  2. Need some points Not very solid style without substance
  3. Not looking forward to my first trip to SMS on Saturday for our bottom of the table clash on Saturday. The way we were hanging on in this game does not inspire confidence at all. Confidence seems to be draining from everyone at the club now. Or am I wrong? Please someone say something positive!
  4. Thank F for that. I was sure it would be one of those games we throw away, but Derby were too sh1te for that. Superb performance according to commentators, but against a very poor team. Well done the young lads all the same - a much needed boost and we're out of the bottom 3!
  5. FFS why does every thread have to degenerate like this. Everyone knows Rasiak is going. He would have played more of a part in games so far if JP thought he was worth integrating into the team. He's a goal-hanging lazy striker who doesn't suit our style. I think he's too much of a luxury, but if John had gone, I would be livid that we sold both. I think we have some good young players, but am not too optimistic we will finish high up the table. Therefore, selling or loaning Rasiak is highly unlikely to cost us promotion. I don't know his feelings, but if he was really desperate to play, he wouldn't have gone to Bolton last season.
  6. Seems strange that he played in so many pre-season games if we were planning to get rid. Maybe JP was just so unimpressed that he's now made the decision. If he feels that Thomas isn't right for the team or squad, fair enough. There are some decent young CBs to cover the older players IMO.
  7. I can't see JP making many changes as people have said. I reckon Davis will stay in goal as he won't really need a rest. Depending on any slight knocks, Killer for Thomas could be the only one from the Cardiff 11. He knows his team and will want them to gel now.
  8. We have no option but to support these young lads because they are our players. Gone are the days when we can just go out and buy some new "stars". I'm gutted about the result and disappointed by what the stats say about our lack of possession or threat, especially 2nd half, but at least they are showing passion and pride. Thanks to the old guard for the performance against Sheffield Utd, but I hope that these young guys will develop into a team that will be in a much stronger position by the end of this season.
  9. We didn't hold oto the ball enough from what I can work out and were under far too much pressure. Killer and Perry were excellent from all the reports, but we don't want to be relying on just holding on. Not as bad as it could have been, but not very promising either.
  10. I was waiting for that to happen - gutted!!!
  11. Holmes, so I guess he's playing left wing now, is he?
  12. Also I see we're down to 36% possession, which is very worrying.
  13. 80:41 Goal kick taken long by Kelvin Davis (Southampton). I thought he was supposed to be playing it out.
  14. So all 3 subs are on. Decisive stuff from JP. Will it pay off?
  15. I'm worried. I can't see us holding out here.
  16. Who's going to be the first one to make Dyer nicking a goal comments then?
  17. I have no idea what is going to happen. Could be great or could be really bad. That's what makes it exciting.
