Dont think he's making a fool of himself at all. First we get told - buy a season ticket or you wont be be going at all, then we get told refunds will be issued within 14 days of not being able to go which is subsequently changed to 14 working days(on top of that why wait to reimburse for some of the games when the club knew restrictions meant we wouldn't be able to go?), then we get to go into a ballot only to find it has been weighted(again, not advised at point of sale). Oh and I have had chase 2 refunds - all in all an absolute shambles.
-
To season ticket holders, pretty simple I would have thought......
-
Think your missing the point, if that was their intention, they should have advised everyone at point of sale. Pretty simple really - obviously didn't do that as it would have put a lot of people of parting with their money.

Update now on website from the club. I'm #ucking fuming to be honest. Take my £600 and then change the goalposts. #ankers......
-
Either that or we have realised he just ain't upto it...... you remember Vegard Forren?
-
Strange they called you. I havent recieved a call.........
-
Cant see how they can do this. There was a pandemic on when we purchased season tickets and there was no mention about postcodes at that point so can't introduce it now. Someone mentioned above that most if not all season ticket holders have had man utd/Sheffield utd reimbursed. I havent, am I the only one?

Some people's idea of a nice gesture certainly varies from mine but I'm glad your happy.
-
Same here

I've just checked - I've recieved a refund equalling 2 games (so I have now been refunded for 4 games in total). I presume thus refund relates to Everton and Newcastle. Strange some have recievd the equivalent of games refund of 4 games(in addition to the 2 already recieved - spurs and west brom).

Totally disagree- saints are one of a very small minority of orem clubs who sold tickets. All they needed to do was ask each season ticket holders to pay a retainer (say £50) and then ballot tickets. Instead they decided to force people to purchase a season ticket if they wanted any chance of going this season - a form of bribery I would suggest. They have subsequently changed the boundaries in terms of their so called promise - 14 days changed to 14 working days etc - I could go on..... All in all feel they have dealt with it terribly. However it's not all bad - if I buy a shirt with an out of date sponsor on the front for a bargain £42 they will give me a chance if winning a competition to talk to 2 of our players - to be honest I find that very insulting.

Totally agree👍

I fortunately had mine today, strangely came in 2 payments - £11.62 and £18.82 - very strange but at least I got it back......
-
I'm pleased for you - would expect them to get a least some refunded correctly.
-
Still waiting for a refund and no reply to my email from the ticket. Looks like I will need to phone tomorrow. This isn't really what I signed up for, hassle I could do without. Consequences for the club for breaking their 'promise' = Zero. Consequences if I didn't renew within their stipulated time frame = they flog my season ticket to someone else.

Only open tue and wed I believe

Am I the only one without a refund for west brom?
-
Anyone had a West Brom refund yet?
-
Ah, someone else talking some sense....

I think you might be semmens love child or semmens himself. Yes we had a choice but we were clearly told 'to retain your seat you have to give us £600+ for your season ticket and if you want to watch any games this season you have to give us £600 for your season ticket. Club could easily have requested say £50 from fans as a retainer to hold their seat and then those who have paid this go into a ballot when we could return. Let's not forgot at the time we purchased our season tickets we knew we could not go to the spurs game but they still decided to charge 14,000 or so fans for this - why not pro rata at that stage? - They have also known for an extended period that we would not be attending west brom, Everton and Newcastle games but decide to hang onto our pennies as long as possible(by advising the 14 days kicks in when they announce on the website the game will be held behind closed doors), Morally, what they done over the last 6 months or so has been shabby to say the least.
-
Saints have hardly come out of this with a gold badge. One of only 2/3 clubs that have sold season tickets........
-
Shame they didn't answer, seems like you are in the minority of people who have not been hoodwinked by the club and feel sorry for them and the rest of the premier. When telling you that clubs have made a £700m loss did they balance it out by saying these same clubs spent £1.2 billion over the summer plus agent fees. Well done for your challenging question - shame a few others didn't ask some difficult questions like you.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11095/12104480/coronavirus-return-of-football-fans-into-stadiums-to-be-debated-on-november-9 Confirmation that the return of fans not being discussed until 09 November- in view of this the club should refund the Everton and Newcastle games now rather than waiting (im still awaiting west brom funds). Don't suppose anyone was clever enough (or brave enough) to query why they are not processing these now?
-
Fair play to them. Saints however; I have shelled out c£600 on season tickets(most premier league clubs haven't asked their fans to buy a product they can't use) and I now need to shell out possibly as much as £350 to watch our games on TV(all whilst I get my £600 drip fed back between now and May). Unfortunately I'm not on Premier league wages so that's difficult for me. I'm out - premier league and Saints greed makes me sick. ##nkers.......
