And my point is - you can sign as many players as you like but if only 1 is good enough to get in the starting your gping backwards. Do you want the club to get a pat on the back for signing 6 players last summer with only 1 improving the the starting 11. Surely that's a massive negative and one that will end up getting us relegated.
